Walmart has the "miracle body" balls and booklet for $12.00-$13.00. They're by the books.

Does anyone know when the dvds are coming out? I tried to email her but it wouldn't go through, maybe because I don't have an account?

Also, are you still loving this method?

I got mine Wed. evening, so I've only gotten to use my Yamuna Back Rolling kit once, but I loved it.

I did it Thursday after P90X Legs & Back w/o, and I don't know if it felt extra good since I was already really warmed up or not, but it was wonderful.

I ordered the book, too, with a gift card from Barnes and Noble, but have only done the foot rolling from it so far, and it felt great! I can't wait till they come out with the DVDs, because I'd love the total body one. I'm going to try it from the book, but I know it'll be easier with the video instruction.

I still love it! Don't know about the DVDs though. I've been trying to do the back routine at least twice a week since receiving it...we'll see if it's made a difference in my upper back when I see my chiropractor this week. It made a tiny difference in my lower back after only one or two times the last time I saw my chiro...I'm hopeful.

I love it and do it almost every day. I would love to know when the DVDs are coming out. I also tried to e-mail through the website, but it wouldn't go through.

how auspicious. I was just coming over to revive the Yamuna thread - and here it is.

I have done the Basics/Back tape twice - once with the red ball, once with the yellow - I think I did prefer the yellow - although I couldn't exactly tell you why. I really enjoy it. It feels so luxurious. When I return to NYC I'm definitely going to try for a Yamuna class, and, at a minimum, stop by the store.

ok! I am with Lexy here. ? for you.. I have the book. I have a set of the miracle balls and book. I have a larger beach body ball and another small ball from elsewhere that's traditionally used in every pilates class I have ever had.
what else do I need for this? can I just by the tape? (really want the chaptering from dvds.. )
I thought I would ask you before I order

Stevie,

I've been watching this closely and this is what I know. The dvds are supposed to be available sometime mid-January so I would wait a week or two and see what happens. We were told that the Back vid will not be on dvd so that's why I think I'm ordering in vhs now. Otherwise, I'd wait, too.

HTH,

Stevie: It's a different type of ball. It's harder than the Beachbody ball but softer than say an Oof ball. I would definitely recommend buying either the red or yellow ball from Yamuna plus the air pump if you don't already have one. I personally like the smaller balls from the Fitball kit especially for the hamstrings. But the Beachbody ball (you mean the one from Yoga Booty Ballet) won't work nearly as well...you are really putting all of your weight on the ball.

I'm really not trying to get you to spend all of your money, but you need to get the full experience for it to be worthwhile. (I have experimented with other balls and have only found that the Fitball ones and Yamuna's work well. (I only have Yamuna's red one and the foot balls, other people like the yellow one - but I seem to be heading toward smaller harder balls for the rolling.)

Donna: I'm so glad that you're keeping it up! I sure hope your upper back and neck loosen up. I think that loosening chronically tight muscles really takes a long time.
