At the time I purchased his cds it was pretty much just guitar, yes. But that was a long time ago. I thought he had newer stuff out. Perhaps dynamix only sells certain ones?

ETA: There's stuff on youtube if that helps.

As you all know, my Natty cat (my avatar) died in June.

Yesterday as part of my workout, I did Jessica Smith's 10-Minute Solution Knockout Body, Upper Body section. The music that accompanies this segment is light-hearted, whimsical, jaunty and ...well, natty.

Suddenly it seemed like that music was the very essence of the kind of cat Natty was. It was his theme. And here I am, in the middle of doing hook punches, crying.

I didn't even realize at the time that day before yesterday marks almost exactly six months to the day Natty died.

Does anyone know how I can identify that tune?
In a crazy, weird way your experience underscores and reasserts the value of home workouts, particularly those with music, and how an integral part of the warp and woof of daily life and living these are ... as under-the-general-radar and/or alone as these may seem (via the media, the unsubtle condescension towards which has been promoted for generations already; as mass media have looked towards out-of-home practices and workouts as being the sine qua non)

These workouts are so much more than just "your alone time" ...

That said, I am very sorry for your loss.

I can't help you with the song, but I lost my sweet avatar dog, April, in June also, and I can tell you that the strangest things remind me of her, and I find myself still sobbing in the grocery aisles or discount stores, just anywhere. Many Hugs to you!

Yes, all that is quite true. My workouts, aside from being my precious "me" time (a sacred ritual, really), influence other parts of my life - the music included.

(((acey))) We never get over losing our beloved fur babies. They are such a huge part of our lives. Til this day, I can not do Tae Bo Live Basic 3, because I did that workout the morning that I had to take my beloved mutt face to our vet to say goodbye. I didn't know it at the time. It wasn't until she came up to me awhile later and pretty much told me it was time. Gosh, I still cry for her, and I'm doing so now.

Debbie S., Demeris and everyone else...thanks for sharing your understanding! I often wondered if I was crazy, for mourning the loss of pets so acutely. But the love I had from my kitties really was real and in fact, better than what I got from my ex-husband :P . No matter. I am so lucky that this forum exists that I can talk about working out to a DVD where the music literally struck a chord that evoked my baby Natty, and have you all understand. Thank you!
