Unhappy Beach Body Workouts

Not sure if this has been posted in the past, but is anyone upset that Beach Body has decided to put most of their new workouts On Demand only now instead of DVDs? I know that DVDs are old school now with streaming and On Demand available. Each method has a place for everyone, but I really like having my workouts on DVD because it is something that is physical, and I will always have it and only have to pay one time. I LOVE Beach Body workouts and really want to purchase their latest FIT4, but I see it will only be available On Demand. Shucks...

I definitely wish they would continue making DVD's! Sigh.

My DVDs and I are old school, for sure. I just can't get into streaming, just yet.

Yes, I wish they would still make dvds.

I would like to buy backup copies of some programs. I don't like any of their newer instructors or programs in the last 6 years. The slim chance I might like a future release, I would require a dvd. Now if they decide to sell direct downloads unattached to a platform like purple player, I'd gladly buy those files. I can author my own dvd from the files. Subscriptions are like a bottomless sinkhole to the wallet.

I hate this trend as well and love my Beach Body DVDs!

Yeah. I'm thisclose to buying Double Time but I'm pretty annoyed that several of the workouts from the rotation are "bonus", streaming-only content. Boo!

I know. I enjoy streaming, but it will never be my only way to workout.

I'm doing Liift4 and have already had one time when the site was down, and I couldn't access it. If I had the dvd, I wouldn't have that problem.

Very irritating.

I’m old school and still prefer using my dvds. So disappointed because I can’t get into the idea of streaming.

I prefer DVDs - I've subscribed to streaming channels and then not used them much, so I haven't subscribed lately. But BeachBody is doing something interesting with FIT4 and 80-Day Obsession where there's a new workout every day - more than they would ever put in a DVD program (if they did, it would be WAY too expensive). I'm very tempted to subscribe to BBOD both for the total quantity of workouts and to get the new ones - and although I love DVDs, I do applaud them for finding a new way to deliver extra value with streaming.

Exactly! Why have someone pay for a DVD set once when they can buy it streaming many times over!
