streaming Leslie!

Just posted on Facebook:

QUESTION WALKERS! We have a lot of new developments for the New Year and wanted to hear from YOU. We are going to be launching WALK TV soon, a premium video service for you stream videos to your computer, instead of buying DVDs. BUT, we have two options for you:

1. Pay one low monthly fee & get access to 30+ titles every month! New titles would be added throughout the year.
OR
2. Get access to buy a single video & workout anytime (online / iPad etc), with no monthly subscription and you can watch it at any time.

Which option do you Like More? Let us know today!

I just got my husband a Roku for his birthday and we have been enjoying streaming TV... so this of course caught my eye. Seems like a great idea to me! I think I'd rather pay a low monthly fee (key word = "low") and get a variety... the other way (buying access to a particular workout) is more like buying a dvd already is.

I agree with you on the low monthly fee option. I like to get more workout options, since I like variety and it makes me feel like I get more for my money.

I like the buy a workout option. This is because I am about to get a tablet and will want to take some workouts with me. I have yet to investigate how to/if I can convert workouts I have on DVD, so this sounds like a good and easy option. At home, I don't see me streaming videos to work out to.

I let my disappointment be known. I need DVDs. Computers and phones don't work for me. I hope new workouts will still continue to be available on DVD.

I like the buy option too. I have lots of videos already so I couldn't justify a monthly fee besides. I typically use DVDs but I like to have 1 or 2 workouts on my laptop just in case I have to do my workout away from the TV.

I could do either option. I love dvds, but have a laptop in my workout room that I use yoga today downloads on.

This is great news, but I hope she hooks up with Roku if she does it.

Thanks for all of the comments! To clarify, this is not to replace dvd sales, we would never stop our dvd sales. But if you wanted it online, which way you'd prefer. Thanks for all of the votes!!
