Had to come back from knee surgery

I had the same thing happen to me. I had knee surgery in December 2017 and was on a cane for two months, then gradually came back even though my knee will never be 100%, or honestly even 75%. I’m still finding out what I can and can’t do, and have had to accept that I will have to live with this frailty and be at peace with it.

Thank god for the wide variety of workouts available. I can do floor work, Raviana, Gilad Abs, and was able to keep on with certain kinds of Pilates. Just doing these has kept me pretty fit, so it can be done.

I try hard to keep thinking of the glass half full.

I have very bad knee arthritis and have had to give up so much that my fitness is only a shadow of what it used to be. I am retiring soon and will have my knees replaced next year and I hope to work my way back up too. Congratulations.
