Celebrating the New Year at the Fitness Cafe - Jan 2020!

At the sound of the tolling midnight bell
a brand new year will begin.
Let’s raise our hopes in a confidant toast,
to the promise it ushers in.

May your battles be few, your pleasure many,
your wishes and dreams fulfilled.
May your confidence stand in the face of loss
and give you the strength to rebuild.

May peace of heart fill all your days
may serenity grace your soul.
May tranquil moments bless your life
and keep your spirit whole.

Hi all! Happy New Year

I won't be spending as much time online as I used too. Too many things going on right now.
I plan on continuing with Pilates, rebounding, walking and light weights for my fitness routine.

Donna D- Thanks for starting us off for the new year! Loved the New Year's Poem

Have a great week everyone!
Sherry

Donna D, thanks so much for starting the new thread!

Sherry, same here. I am tentatively looking for another job with a better work/life balance. That takes up a lot of time.

Waves to Chrys and Sherri!

My workout plan is to start the new Heather Robertson videos I purchased.

I will be posting as I can.

hugs,
Beth

Hi, ladies. I got home last night, and DH left this morning for Virginia. He's there until the 30th. I shoveled snow today, and will probably do some treadmill walking while I watch the Golden Globes.
Sherry, I hope all is well with you.
Beth, good luck with the job search!
DonnaD, thanks for starting us off!

Happy New Year everyone!

Well, I turned 58 yesterday. That was fun. It is amazing how fast time goes by now.

Donna - Thank you for the lovely poem. I miss your postings and hope that life has eased up for you.

Sherry - Life does get in the way sometimes. I hope all is well with you too.

Beth - Good luck on the job search. I will have to search for Heather Robertson workouts.

Chrys - I am so glad I don't have to shovel snow!!! That has to be quite a workout.

Hi, ladies. I'm going to get a walk in tonight, and I shoveled a couple of inches of snow off the driveway when I got home. I walked Tuesday night, but last night I had a huge headache, so it was a rest day.
Sherri, Happy Birthday! I turn 56 next week. Great job with your workouts!

Hi, ladies. I shoveled 3-4 inches of snow this morning, and it is still coming down. We are supposed to get up to 5 more inches today. I will be doing some treadmill walking in between rounds of shoveling. Other than that, I need to haul the tree and ornaments downstairs and do laundry/cleaning.

Hi, ladies. I did a walk today, and shoveled only once. My neighbors came and shoveled for me later in the day - so nice of them! We are supposed to get a bunch more snow overnight, so I'll be going to bed and getting up early. I will probably need to shovel before work.

Just a drive by today:

Last week:

daily dog walk plus:
S-much needed rest day
M-disc golf
T-Cathe Lite Bodyweight & Bands + Calorie Crush
W-disc golf
T-JS 20m interval cardio + 20m Yoga Stretch - Yoga Upload
F-no workout
S-PiYo Sweat (1/2 of the workout)

Chrys - So nice of the neighbors to help with the snow removal. Happy Birthday, I hope you have a great one. I was not inspired this year to do much Christmas decorating, so it took about 20 minutes to put it all away. Now we are back to focusing on painting the inside of the house.
