Day 5:
~My favorite yin stretches at bedtime....hip stretches, chest openers & forward bends

Day 6:
~Hot flow yoga class - This was a family event! I went with my son & DIL. We saw my niece there & her partner taught the class. It was a tough sweat fest, but it left me feeling great!

Hi everyone! Hope to join you all starting January 1st. Right now DH and I are fighting colds. His is almost gone and mine has more to go. Hopefully mine will be gone in time for the New Year.

I've been working on a lot of strength exercises this past year and need to add some balance to my workouts with yoga or QiGong. The check in will be a great way to get going. Thank you for the open invite!

Day 4: 10 min meditation, journey to the heart meditation and 90 min yoga class. Great Christmas Eve class, it started slow and deliberately and I was drenched before I knew it.

Day 5: 10 min meditation, journey to the heart meditation

Day 7:
~Movement For Modern Life: Wrist Free Flow - This is a fave of mine & my wrists needed a break after a few vinyasa classes. It was pretty much all standing with half sun sals, low & high lunges, forward bends, chair, a few simple twists, a standing warrior flow. Some of the flow segments had a Qi Gong feel.

Welcome Cate!

Day 6 - a matrix from Ravi and Ana's Short Sets.

Welcome to the sadhana, Cate! I hope you and DH feel better soon.

Pam, that MFML routine sounds super nice.

Day 8:
~Gentle Hatha Flow class - this was labeled Yoga Restore but it was really a gentle Hatha class that was pretty wrist friendly, just a few down dogs and one plank. We started with breath work then a lovely standing warm up flow...chair, forward bend, roll up, side bends, back to standing. Then we did a variation on a half sun salutation to lunge flow with hip openers, twists, Sphinx, fallen warrior. It was a lovely class.

Pat - Yes that MFML class was very nice, perfect because it was active without being wrist-y.
