Country music singer Stonewall Jackson has passed away at the age of 89. I don’t suppose a lot of people will remember him. I saw his show once in Sparks, NV. I was killing time before a different show started and I was pleasantly surprised - he put on a good show. RIP

I definitely know the name but can't remember offhand what he sang. I'll have to look. And let my dad know. I just spent three weeks with him and we listened to Willie's Roadhouse on Sirius every day.

Wow, I thought Stonewall Jackson was long gone already. My parents listened to him when I was a kid.

I love Willie's Roadhouse, too.

Rest in Peace. I remember his campaign and the lovely speech his wife gave about him at the national convention

Sad to hear that Charlie Pride has passed away -

Charley Pride — a sharecropper's son who rose from rural Mississippi to become the first Black superstar in country music — died Saturday at age 86.

The "Kiss An Angel Good Mornin" singer died in Dallas, Texas, due to complications from COVID-19, according to a news release from his publicist, Jeremy Westby.
