Let's talk about active recovery/rest day workouts!

I push myself pretty hard 3-4 days out of the week and am really benefitting from 2 days of lower intensity/active recovery days. I'm enjoying this but I'd love to investigate more DVD options for my active recovery days. It has been easy to just take a walk or an outdoor hike but that weather window will close soon. I just can't make myself do walking DVDs.

So please share your favorites that aren't walking. Especially ones that are in the 20 minute range. Options that are very light cardio and/or more stretch than strength focused. I have some CS and easier pilates but am wondering if there's anything else so I won't get sick of what I have.

Thanks for your suggestions!!

Linda, I have always felt like Caribbean Workout was similar in intensity for me as a Leslie walk (maybe more if I try) but much more fun than walk DVDs. The PowerFit workouts might also fit the bill.

Jessica Smith Barre Fitness & Total Body Balance, Yoga Booty Ballet, Weight Watcher’s Punch with Stephanie Huckabee, BellyFit..... to name a few. If you have a rebounder, I like to freestyle bounce while I watch something on Netflix.

Vantreesta, I almost got rid of the Powerfit workouts, you're right, they'd work for this.

Now what's the 'Caribbean workout'..who is the trainer?

bubbles and Pam thank you for reminding me because I have most of those.

Question though...Is Jessica's Ballet Fitness the same as her Barre Fitness? (I have Barre Fitness)

No worries...but the ones I saw on YouTube are faster paced than I want. Are there DVDs that are slower paced?
