Hi Alta! I will continue what I am doing, which is alternating cardio days with strength days. I usually do the treadmill, or a combo of rowing machine, bike and treadmill, on cardio days. I tend to do machines and free weights, heavy. Some days I like to do Les Mills Pump.

Whenever I veer away from my own workouts, and do advanced videos like Cathe, I end up pulling something. I still love my videos, though.

This is so timely b/c I was just thinking about what I wanted to do for November and December.

I have a lot of ideas in my head - but not sure which ones will win out!

Jessica Smith's Healthy for the Holidays Plan - from her website

Pahla B - Weight Loss Series & Moving Mango Pilates (just discovered her!) & Outdoor walks

Jessica Smith's 30 Day Walking Program done every other day and alternated w/ Ellen Barrett and/or Pilates/Yoga/CS on the in-between days (this one can work for both Nov and Dec since it will take approx 60 days to complete)

Theme weeks - where I pick an instructor or theme and just use that for the week.

Leslie also usually does a 21 days before Thanksgiving Walk challenge.....but in November, at least, outdoor walks are nice around here, so may want to save indoor walks for winter.

I have been following this template, from Jessica Valent's site - and it is very flexible -

Monday - Steady State
Tuesday - Arms & More
Wed - HIIT & Abs
Thurs - Active Recovery
Friday - Legs & More
Saturday - Steady State
Sunday - Active Recover/Rest Day

And may stick with that.

So, in short, lots of choices, but no real decision, LOL!

Yep. This is me, too. I've only been able to stick to one rotation ever, CLX for 3 months (which was years ago). Now I just switch up weights and cardio.

I've been on a Classical Stretch/T-Tapp kick. I'm thinking of doing a quasi-rotation:

Day One: Classical Stretch
Day Two: T-Tapp
Day Three: Something rehabilitative: Jill Miller or Katy Bowman
Day Four: Callanetics or Barre or Pilates

Rinse, repeat.

I have never stuck to a rotation. I try to do a certain amount of cardio, yoga and strength a week. That is all

I’m hoping that on November 4th I can jump up and down and clap my hands vigorously!

I've been doing this same rotation for a couple of years. It has built in rest/stretch/mobility days, so there is not a huge dread factor:

Mo: Steady State Cardio, Mobility or Balance
Tu: Upper Strength/Abs & Intervals
We: Steady State Cardio, Mobility or Balance
Th: Lower Strength/Abs
Fr: Steady State Cardio, Mobility or Balance
Sa: Upper Strength/Abs
Su: Lower Strength

Sometimes I'll change it up to do total body weight a few days a week.

I have been doing boxing/kickboxing for the last year but need to pick up the weights more.

So probably something like this which isn't a big difference from what I am doing now:

M - boxing/kickboxing/heavy bag
T - lower body focus
W - boxing/kickboxing/heavy bag
Th - total body focus
F - boxing/kickboxing
Sat and Sun - long treadmill workouts

I do yoga/stretching everyday but want to start adding in short mobility workouts.

I've been struggling with weight gain the last couple of years and my intermediate to me workouts (Firm classics, Firm BSS's) are hard. That being said, I've been pushing myself to do them and enjoy them rather than ignoring them.
I will probably continue November with the above in mind.

Sun: Leslie
Mon: BSS or Classic Firm
Tue: BSS or Classic Firm
Wed:
Thur: Pink Firm
Fri:
Sat: BSS or Classic Firm

I'm also considering revisiting my Cathe's and also ordering Perfect 30....
