You are 100% correct. There are some things that you just have to do when presented with the opportunity. I'll get back to ya'll about it in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday we ran 2.55 mi for 10k trainer wk5 day1. Well, I ran that, Cyric ran about half. This was 5 min runs separated by 3 min walks and I didn't want to push him too hard since he's only been doing those short sprints. He probably would have been fine but that's okay. I did my own stretch after, which did include most of my PT stretches.

Correct, buff, I haven't done this race before. Should be a nice one, I think.

Knee Swivels: You're in bear position on hands with knees off the floor an inch or two and rotate your knees in a circle out and in. It gets my thighs and core. Since I start early knowing the exercise, I have a tough time going until she stops.

I hurt my left foot on Thursday by catching my toe on a DB that was on the floor - stupid. I've been walking with a boot buffboy had and it seems better today. I think I got a bone under the ball of my foot where the toe connects - fractured? broken? I have an appointment with an ortho doc Tuesday. Today is better than yesterday AM. Will do boxing tomorrow for cardio if I can't get any step in. Had fun with Mr and Mrs Muscle today - really a total body workout in 10 min.

Thanks for explaining, buff. I'll have to try it. Ouch on the foot! Hopefully nothing's broken. There's still a bruise on my knee from when I landed on it in Nov.

I'm taking a totally lazy day today. Not sure we'll even go for walks. I'm even still in my pajamas!

No doubt! Thankfully it doesn't still hurt even though it's still purple.

I have been laid out flat all day with what I think is a really bad case of vertigo. I hope that's all it is and not the flu. My stomach was only upset this morning when I was first trying to get up and make it to the bathroom. I can move any part of my body just fine except my head. I was originally stuck on the floor so my sacrum is hurting badly. I was able to get on the bed about an hour ago.

Hope you're feeling better Vannie.

I did fracture my toe - so I have another 2 weeks of 'taking it easy'. No special treatment.
