Is Ballet Body Upper Body hard on the front of the shoulders?

I've had shoulder issues in the past, so tend to avoid upright rows and too much front delt work. I do more work for the rear delts and back. I like the idea of the tricep work in this workout and not much bicep work but I don't want to aggravate my shoulder too much. FYI, I'm OK doing most shoulder work if not done to excess. Same with planks & dips.

Thanks

Emma

Leah changes positions frequently, but you're pretty much looking at a 25 min segment of plank variations. If you like downloads now you can get one of her many arm-focused segments. There are some that alternate planks with standing work, with a nice cardio effect. I personally like cardio arms III.

I feel it most in my lats when I do this workout. In fact, it's the only upper body workout I own that leaves me with major DOMS in my back.

That's exactly what I need. Hard to find workouts that work those muscles as much as I want them worked.

I just did the workout this morning. It was rough. I had to modify sometimes and I had to stop and rest a few times. And I did not look nearly as graceful as Leah. But I made it through the whole workout.

Now my hands and wrists are killing me. I had to rub them down with tiger balm this afternoon. I feel like I need those tommie copper hand compressors.
