Fitness Blender has several free workouts that are butt-focused. Search "Lower Body" and see what comes up. I'm currently on a FB rotation called "Booty Boot Camp."

Also, Brazil Butt Lift is great for the butt.

And I like Keli Roberts' Gliding: Booty Beautiful. It uses sliders, but you could use paper plates. It also uses a body bar.

Blogilates also has several butt-focused workouts for free online.

Great advice!

I need to go heavier than I think to really feel the work in my glutes/hamstrings--but when I do, WOWZA! The move suddenly *makes sense,* and it's also easier to get the form right. That might be counterintuitive, but it was an eye-opener for me.

...That said, I had great results from BBL (I had no butt, and then I did). Leandro does know his stuff. My focus at the time wasn't so much on building strength, though, so I can't speak to that aspect.
Thank you so much for sharing this advice! I've been struggling to see results from my lower body workouts, and reading this and loralei's post about a weak posterior chain describes me exactly. I've been following this advice the past few days, and my poor bum is fried! I just really want to thank you both.

I have been doing Barlates Fusion at the wall Glute Bridge segment and Fusion glute segment about 4-6 times per week and built up alot of glute strength.

take a look at this Gymra Plus Booty bump challenge. there's ten workouts all about 15 minutes each. I like the lead gal (Julia). the other gal is a bit quirky.
