I did a premix for S &S this morning: both workouts together with no swings. Like Tiny said, Kelly alternates upper & lower body, & there are 3 sets of the exercises. Most of the time, each set is 12 reps, but there are times when there's only 6 reps, usually when it's s combo move such as straight arm raises for rear delts/tricep kickbacks & rear lunge/front lunge combo. I foolishly did not preview, but I got away with it & still got a workout. The moves are simple enough & most of the time fairly slow, so I could use pretty heavy (for me) weights. There was one move she sped up to "get it over with," but I can't remember what it was & I stayed slow.
The lower body moves alternated between regular strength & cardio moves: squats, rear lunge/lfront lunge combo, side lunges with threading kb or db through legs, regular jumps, jumping split lunges, skater leaps, & pop/plus squats w/ a db. There are no low impact modifications shown, but there are some weight modifications.
I liked this premix, but sometimes 3 sets got boring, & there were no abs. I had planned on doing abs from the other DVD, but I ran out of time. Also, each body part, at least for the upper body, got 6 sets. I would rather have done 4 sets total & do abs--I will probably do that in the future, hitting the "next" button when I want. Also, there is a music off option.

I probably will if they don't turn up, but I'll wait until late december - early January. I just can't wait to have them, I'm in a KCM kick since I found out about her workouts here in september, and I love all the ones I've tried!

Thanks for the reviews!

Mine came in the mail today
I did the Athletic Conditioning 2 workout - I did the premix that included the 3 full rounds of exercises plus some abs and stretching.
I liked the main workout - you move from exercise to exercise and keep going for 3 rounds. Her son and neice are adorable. It was a good sweaty workout and I liked most of the exercises. There was really just one exercise I didn't like where you are in a bear crawl and flip over and press up. Maybe that exercise will grow on me.
I didn't preview the workout, so I did the first round using 5 lb weights and then went up to 8 lbs for the next 2 rounds.
I'm looking forward to trying S&S.

I just received mine in the mail and did the step workout and workout 1. The step workout has 4 short combos, no complex choreography and was pretty simple to catch on to. There were a couple of times Kelly doesn't tell you exactly what she is doing but once I do it a few times it won't be an issue. It's a nice short fun step workout perfect for an add on. I liked workout one and felt like I got a good workout. I thought I would get bored with 3 rounds of the same exercises but since the rep count is lower they went by fast. I really liked integrating the kettlebell swings with traditional exercises.

I will have to wait until after Christmas to do mine, since we are going out of town. Looking forward to both workouts from Kelly!

AC2 has 3 complete rounds of all the moves (I forgot how many moves), 12 reps I believe of each move or is it 10? It may be 10 reps. I think S & S is 12 reps.
Great! Thanks for letting me know that, Mary. I have both in my shopping cart now and will pull the trigger during (the other) Mary's next sale.
