Angie Miller Bedroom Body

Mary's Deal of the Day today. Looks like a straightforward workout with lots of premixes. I have been doing lots of barre, fusion etc. for awhile now and need a change. Today I started 21 Day for a third round since it first came out. Felt good. Angie Miller looks good to me so any thoughts, opinions, comments.
Think I will put up a trade list and give it a shot.

Love this workout! I always feel like she sneaks a hurting in on you. I love the set, the pace, and the exercises. Very functional fitness feeling, and works your abs and glutes the entire time. The one thing that I find funny that some may find annoying is this: sometimes she goes into a Kermit the Frog voice when she is trying to be...I guess serious? Like when she is emphasizing something and wants you to feel your muscles or some such thing. I can't describe it but that voice cracks me up every time.

Bubbles is right on, down to the Kermit the Frog voice. It starts off as this grumble in her throat, and then roars out encouragement. I find it . . . weird? funny? notable?

I love this workout! As Bubbles said, it is very "functional fitness" in nature. You engage almost every muscle head to toe with most of the movements, and she adds in a lot of sneaky little balance challenges along the way. She doesn't do a lot of reps of each exercise, and there is a lot of variety. Time always flies for me when I do this workout.

The premixes provide a lot of nice options, although I usually do the whole workout. If I am pressed for time I will skip the ab section at the end since the core gets a good workout during the standing segments.

I wanted to love it - I felt the weights were too heavy(and I wasn't even using what they were using) for the speed she went - I felt it later and not in a good way I remember thinking IF I tried it again I'd use lighter weights. otherwise it was good - just thought it was a teeny bit too fast.

It was the deal of the day yesterday at Mary's so I ordered. Good to know about the weight. I will go lighter the first time. I usually do,until I get a feel for a workout.

Glad you ordered Phyllis! It's a good workout. I didn't feel that it went too fast. For me, my "too fast, nearly frantic" litmus test is Cathe's STS Total Body.

I just wanted a solid workout that hits everything without killing me. A "what should I do today" kind of workout. Fast and frantic for me is DreamBody. But we will see.

Bedroom Body is a solid full body workout. I do not feel that the pace is frantic at all rather I feel that it is nicely paced. In the workout, two of them use 10lb and 8lb dumbbells and one person uses 8lb and 5 lbs. I used 15lbs and 12lbs. Angie does emphasis that everyone should use weight selections that challenge them therefore we all be different in our selections of weights used. I too sometimes skip some or all of the core section because as was stated the core is worked throughout the workout. I mostly use Bedroom Body as a no dread, lighter day thorough workout.
