If you had to pick 3 exercises what would they be and why?

1. Deadlift (powerlifting)
This is a compound movement that hit multiple muscles. I can feel those muscles pretty well next day.

2. Jump Squat (w/barbell)
A fun exercises for me. With a barbell I go lower during the landing.

3. Push Press
Hard for me, but I LOVE it.

Benchpress

Those three work so many muscles.

Squats--getting up and down grows ever more important as we age.
Pushups/pullups (counting as one)--women really need to work our upper bodies, especially as we grow older.

Supermans/Birddogs (again, counting as one)--work the back and work balance

Back rows - pull muscles
Push ups - push muscles & core
Squats - lower body (glutes and quads in particular)
Really should add deadlifts too to make it four - hamstrings and lower back

1.Turkish Get-ups
2. Sun Salutations [with Travis]

I think the above are quite complementary full body exercises. And the coordinated breathing in both the get ups & the is sun salutations are great for my asthmatic lungs.

3. Kettlebell Swing because they are such a great posterior chain exercise that can be worked as cardio, strength and even power swings.

Great Question Sharaz!
Hope someday I can get back to all of these.

1. Lunges for lower body;
2. Mountain climbers or burpees or squat-thrusts, for upper body and some cardio;
3. Sun salutations for flexibility and strength.
