I'm 60 and I still don't look that good. But Lord knows I'm trying.

Too high-carb for me.

Sephora doesn't bite ... though I 'd probably think you shop in some twee artisanal cosmetics store some place ... judging from what your blog is ...

I'm not into cosmetics at all -- actually avoid shopping whenever I can, especially on the twee side. Just curious, why did my blog lead you in that direction?

Tapas are more likely to be meat -- carbs not so much.

Oh, maybe impressions: travel, art, sketchbooks; you also live in greater New York City (so you can't avoid bumping into hip, trendy, stylish)—particularly close-in Brooklyn ... loads of crowds of young people, "hipsters", cafés ... you seem to be into yoga as I once had been. Very—I create movement routines from yoga/pilates, too, for whatever may have gone South in my head, I still have unusual body-awareness and a great kinesthetic memory—particularly nonstereotypically considering I am a formerly-obese person.

I don't know about you, but I used to be obese as a young person and into my late prime. And, you know, makeup is one-size-fits-all and improves most faces (especially in the big city, working in offices as I did and hoping to again).

So, evidently you defy the stereotypes of the artisan/artist/yoga consumer/hipster Brooklyn visitor/dweller? as alluded to above ...

I can't afford the stereotype. My husband and I live on Social Security and measly pensions. And I've done yoga for 25 years or so.

It's always dangerous to assume stereotypes anyway.

Oops: meant to add: I've always been on the skinny side and makeup averse, for most of my life.
