I've been doing pilates daily for over a year. The most exciting difference I notice is increased spinal mobility. (I have some scoliosis in my lower spine.) I have done pilates weekly in person years ago for about 2 years and then dabbled it since. I currently do mostly youtube videos that are on average 25 min but can be shorter or longer. I'm also doing daily meditations (5 min), short yoga stretching, and currently EPIC II. My 'rest' days are longer pilates workouts.

Today's workout was The Girl with the Pilates Mat 25 min Full Body Intermediate Workout. Rachel does a lot of spinal articulation which I like and nothing is too quick. She also tends to offer modifications in most of her workouts. Her workouts simply make me feel good - and worked out.

Hi Buffmama,

There is a Pilates Cross Trainers check in - you are welcome to join us!

We do a mixt of Pilates and other workouts.

It sounds like you are really benefiting from Pilates - I haven't tried that channel on You Tube yet, although I am subscribed!

I'm inspired to do more regular practices reading about your results after a year!

Please feel free to stop by the Pilates Cross Trainers check in!

Move with Nicole 30 min Intermediate flow. I liked her early stuff but the newer stuff seems even better! And most of her stuff is full body. I've even liked the hiit/cardio pilates she's done.

I may join in here once in awhile, too! I am thinking the month of May will be a good time for me to focus more on Pilates.

Right now I'm doing a loose version of Jessica Smith's Walk Strong 1.0

But May would be a good time to focus on Pilates.....

I am doing Moving Mango's 30 Days of Light. We have about 6 and half weeks of school left. My goal is to be done by then.

Yesterday I did Day 2 Courage. It was very interesting.

Moving Mango is a channel I want to try!

What do you think of her practices? She certainly has a lot of content!

I have done just two of her practices. I liked both of them.
