We all have dud days and not every workout can be fun/our best, etc. So I moved on. It is a "trial subscription" after all.

Workout report:

4/12/2021: Ifit Run 30 mins **, 45 minutes Hit & Hills with Sam Yo, 10 minute cool down ride. PM: 20 minutes Sweat Row with Aquil & 10 minutes Yoga Flow (yep - for the challenge of course!)

** This run was better. Got in my mile. It was one individual. I liked it MUCH better than the first one. Still not hooked on the app though. Will continue to investigate.

the 45 minutes Hit & Hills was pretty brutal (cool looking graph) but oddly? I didn't mind it. It alternated between hills and then short bursts of High Intensity Intervals. Definitely a tough ride!

Ok, gotta go work out before the morning gets away from me and it's time to leave for work. Waves to all!

Make it a great day.

4/12 - dog walk
30 Min. Justin Bieber Run
Classical Stretch S4:E15
4/13 - dog walk
Cathe's Upper Body plus Core #2 from LITE
20 Min. 80's Ride w/ Christine

Cleda - It was run day, so I had to try the Justin B. run! I liked it, not real familiar with his music, but it was good. I liked the pace and hills on the run, just enough to push me without killing me.
Helen - Weeding around cacti must be very tricky, I don't blame you for hesitating! I hope the skate accident wasn't too bad!
Waves to Pam, Susan and any one else lurking!

Goooood morning - it's Wednesday!

Going to wing it (no list) & see how I go today.

LILI
Smiled when I saw you had done the Justin Bieber run as well.
Cacti weeding: Very long tweezers - the kind that come with an overlocker (serger) help a lot.
The skating "accident" was just a tweak, but hurt enough to make me "argh" in pain momentarily. It happened SO easily - not risking the stupid award - took them straight off.

CLEDA
You're right (you so often are) - a trial is precisely to try before you buy.
Glad you found one you like.
___________
Not completely "going it alone" - shall edit to add throughout the day, but as you probably won't see it until after I'm done for the day, you won't notice.
Wednesday, the 14th of April
10min, BohoBeautiful - Guided Morning Meditation
10min, Kassandra - 30 Day Morning Yoga Challenge - Day 04 (Neck & Shoulder Stretches)
weeding & potting ponytail seedlings found whilst weeding - self-seeded from the 2-storey ponytail palm in the yard.
80min, walk with Alice warm (80F) with a warm breeze
out to a big shopping centre - for a change of scenery (with no scenery) and groceries
30min, Shannon Leroux - Shape Up - Day One Legs & Back with buddy. It was a virgin. Beginner, and soooo boring!

PAM, SARAH, & SUSAN - missing you!

I’m still here, struggling with motivation, feeling a bit blah. I’ve been walking, rebounding, teaching Essentrics, doing daily yoga, and a little Barre3. We are taking our trailer out on Thursday, staying about 90 min from home by a beach & a big nature park. Planning some hikes & bike rides as lots of trails in that area.

Waves to all & sorry for lack of personals. I’ll be better in a week or two, plan to be back in full force in May!

Sorry you've been feeling flat - know all about that one lately!
Hope the trails pick up back up.

Pam: But you're still getting it done, so give yourself some credit! Life and times are cyclical. (at least that's how I feel!) Hang in there.

Helen: The pic of the trails/woods makes me just wanna go out and hike.

Lili: Glad you liked the Justin Bieber run. I did a 30 mins. endurance run yesterday also that was good (By Matt W.) From 3/18/21 10 a.m. That you might enjoy too. It's a nice (no pressure) run. With some incline (or not) and he leaves it up to the runner to do what you want.

Waves to Sarah and Susan and anyone else reading!!!

3/14/2021: 30 mins. Endurance Run with Matt, Power Zone endurance ride (45 mins.) + 10 mins. Cool down ride and 5 mins. Post Ride Stretch (all with Denis).

Today marks halfway through April. Rolling along. I have actually kept up with my mile a day. (Even though I was ready to give up a couple of days ago).

ONWARD!

4/14 - dog walk
GHU's Cardio Core (too much getting up and down for me, but I stuck it out and modified when needed)
Walk Across America Vermont
4/15 - dog walk
Gilad's Cutting Edge part 1
20 Min. 80's Ride with Jenn Sherman

As the weather is getting nicer, we are extending our dog walks bit by bit.

Helen - long tweezers sounds like a practical solution to weeding cacti!
Pam - sorry you are in a slump, it's the year that never ends that is getting to everyone. I hope you bounce back soon.
Cleda - I'll have to try that run, too. I have been considering running outside again, but the weather on my run day has not been cooperating. It's good to have a back-up plan.

Oops - caught Vermont out of the corner of my eye and mind said "Vomit". Double take - aaahh, Jenny Ford.

CLEDA
I've kept up the mile a day as well, but NOT always running but it's a start, and consistent.

As to consistency - 'going it alone' did NOT work yesterday. All I got done was morning Kassandra (10minstretch) & walking Alice. Totally schlumped.
Need my personal motivator to keep me going - even though it's me - it's the START of the day version of me when I'm more optimistic rather than the me that's been alone in silence all day & having to make decisions about what to do next. That me runs out of puff to even decide. Pre-planning keeps me going. So I'm back to the list. DH won't be home for another week (next Thursday, at the moment) but it's back-to-work on Monday, so really only 3 days to get through alone - and maybe plan the after-work evenings the night before.

Friday. the 16th of April
10min, Great Meditation - Powerful Morning Meditation
10min, Kassandra - FullBody Flow Morning Yoga Practice - Day 05, the affirmation of the day was "I am a money magnet." Blech!
80min, Christi - Hi-Lo Heaven, modified here & there but not a lot, 3kg weights for Stage 3, last time I did the whole thing was 2009 (12 yrs!) & used 3.5 kg.
60min, Alice: out for a walk (daily mile/walk)
20min, Adriene - Dedicate - Day 20 Lead
38min, YouTube: Shaun - Let's Get Up - Crafty & Fit, with buddy

After 11pm now - won't do anything more apart from meditation in bed.
Expect another list tomorrow, and perhaps shorter versions from Monday (back to work) so it's already done for when I get home from work - so the silent homecoming is already dealt with. I know myself, and that's a bad trigger to go into sloth-mode.

G'night all - final weekend of my holidays is looming.

PAM
Hope your funk is lifting too.

WAVES FOR SARAH & SUSAN

Helen - So glad your list kept you on track for the day!

4/16 - dog walk
Technical problems, again! GHU Kickbox HIIT was on my rotation, but I could not get it to cast to the TV. Grrrrr! Started 2 different DVDs before I settled on 2 Miles with Leslie.

I will have to fiddle with my TV connections before I am ready to workout today, since I get really annoyed (yes, I wanted to throw something at the TV) when I wasted time trying to get things to work as they should.
