One day at a time Vannie ((hugs)) - don't dismiss anything you do - it's all good stuff.

Thank you, Helen. I needed that. Trying to remind myself that movement is medicine even if it isn't what I planned and isn't intense. All I can do is all I can do.

Vannie, I hope you and Cyric are out enjoying this beautiful weekend.

I am really liking EPIC HEAT! I don't like it so much while I'm burning and shaking doing the workout, but afterwards I feel so accomplished. I have tried to use as heavy as I can, but surprisingly my upper body has not really had any DOMS, but my butt was feeling nicely sore from Day 7 FLAMING Legs.

Glad that you're liking EPIC Heat Sandy! I was going to ask. I find there is some mental work to these as well as I psych myself to get them done! I read the breakdowns the day before and again that morning. And I usually use various weights to best target the muscles. Today's workout had a few too many swing-squats for my liking. Oh well.

Sandy, we definitely should have been out today but I ended up baking cookies and cleaning the kitchen. I was out a lot yesterday though, helping a friend with more moving. I had a great time organizing their pantry and storage containers last night. I'm such a dork.

Sandy - Any changes in your eating/weight with EPIC HEAT? I imagine with the shorter workouts you might not notice anything but I am definitely eating more (but healthy) and the scale has gone up. Buffboy says it's muscle. I can only hope. I'm definitely stronger just have no idea how my weight changes as I get stronger. How it that possible after working out for all of these years?!

I don't feel any hungrier from all the Carolines I've done since January 1, 2021... wow, I've been doing her regularly for almost 4 months. I am very odd in that I make the same thing basically everyday making sure the groceries run out Sat for Sun grocery day. I feel compelled to eat the three meals to have the food gone on Saturday even though I really am never hungry. The result of this is I am above my standard winter weight. Since I waste a lot of time watching youtube, this weight won't change without action on my part.

With the warmer weather coming, I am hoping to get off my lazy behind, and I'm planning to rework my meals. If I ever just waited to be hungry to eat, I think pounds would come back off.

buff, did you take any before and after pictures for EPIC 1?

I'm admitting it - feeling dread about doing even Caroline's BEGINNER Epic!
I'm back at work now, so obviously didn't get it done in the holidays.
BUT on a MOTIVATED MISSION to complete all Cathe's workouts (just the main versions) in chronological order before I turn 60 - it's a two-year plan - so with all the strength work in there, I'll be fine without tackling Caroline's - but maybe I won't dread them by then!

Next on my chrono mission is Interval Max, which I actually did not that long ago. Pure Strength is after that which was her first weights series - so I'll be on a roll for strength-work from that point onwards.

To get them all done, will need to do one every 3-4 days & add in my buddy workouts (always shorter & easier) around them. Regular yoga has been happening too. I'm feeling ok about my workouts right now.
