Below is my last post from last month's thread:

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

50 minute outdoor walk

I did manage to get out and walk before the rain started. It was spritzing a little during the walk but not much. I am planning a walk today and hopefully some weight work one of these days.

PENGUIN, good job with Reps to the Rhythm. Glad you missed the worst of the storm hopefully. Well that's a lot of good calcium you're getting.

I'm going to start the new Spring thread today because I probably won't remember to do it on the exact first day of spring in a few weeks. I'll keep it going until June and start a Summer one then if it's working out for us.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good idea on the spring thread, SB. It sounds so hopeful!

Today, I did a Tracy Mallet cardio dvd, and finished with a Latin dance thing. All this, of course is highly modified to my sorry situation!

Other than that, pacing. I guess I differentiate pacing and walking because pacing is either just around or outside my house. I’m not going anywhere except back and forth. I’m still too nervous to take an actual walk on the road even though the ice has mostly melted. Woody arrives tomorrow so I’m going to have to get over that!

sB, I was surprised that they wanted me to ditch the sling after 3 weeks too. It’s the new protocol if X-rays show you’re on the mend. It avoids the dreaded shoulder freeze. It took me a couple of days, but I’m glad it’s gone!

Are we all glad it’s March? Yes.

I didn't get in a workout today because I did some extra spring cleaning. Well that's what I'm telling myself anyway. We decided to start looking for a house so the thought of moving everything has gotten me cleaning and purging already. Probably better to do it in small chunks now that wait until we have to. So I did some extra cleaning besides what I usually do today and got a small pile of stuff ready for Goodwill.

Mom and Dad are coming over tomorrow, I have a routine appointment with my retina specialist on Wed and Knitting Ministry on Thursday so its going to be a full weekend.

SB, I had to have a bone density scan in January but I wasn't worried. I would have been very surprised if I had a problem. Glad you were able to get in a long walk.

Nora, I agree with you about Spring being Hopeful. Glad to hear Woody is on his way. At least you are up and moving regardless of what you call it.

Stay warm you guys!

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

62 minute outdoor walk
100 kettlebell swings
plank & push ups

I had a little spring fever lately with the long walks. The weather isn't quite there yet, it's actually pretty cold and windy today, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel (I hope that's what it is)! I do plan to walk today and hopefully more.

NORA, yes you're moving that's the main thing. Be careful with Woody out there but I'm sure you will.

PENGUIN, that's exciting about a new house! In the same general area? I've been thinking I may have to move in a few years but the thought of all the stuff I've accumulated here over 33 years fills me with fear and dread. You're smart starting early and small. DD said she'll help me with that after her spring semester when she has a little free time.

Stay well everyone!

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

47 minute park walk

Since I was over in that area on an errand, I decided to walk in my favorite park. It was a good walk but wearing a mask is a big drawback. Most likely back to my neighborhood walk today.

Waves to all. Stay well.

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

58 minute outdoor walk

Hoping to walk again today but I have an emergency plumbing issue so it depends on when the plumber gets here.

I'm dancing with myself here. LOL

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone!

SB-I hope that plumbing issue isn't too bad. Looks like you're getting in some decent walks. The improving weather helps with that I"m sure. It's good to dance with yourself!

PP- I hope all is well with you.

I've been walking and pacing as per usual, but today I actually did a step workout. Totally Hot Step/Christi T. Totally enjoyed it too.

SB, not the same area. we want to get out of the city. We will either move closer to my parents or N MS. We aren't sure yet and it may take a few years, we have work to do on this house, stuff to get rid of, then there's no point in moving near my parents if they will have to move to a retirement place. Hope the plumber comes soon! That's never fun!

Nora, glad to hear you are making progress with the workouts! Hope you shoulder is playing nice!

We have had a few nice days with sunshine and warmer temps. I had to wait outside of the Dr's office for about 15m while Hubby came back to get me, but the sun was shining and I wasn't the only one soaking it up. We are watching a few places in my vision but everything was okay. I don't have to go back for 6 months but we are going to make appointments to get new glasses. My frames broke mid pandemic but Hubby glued them back together.

No workout today. I've been cleaning off shelves and dusting, so I woke up with a sinus like headache. Hubby bought a new foam mattress from Walmart and slept well last night. He says he woke up without back pain for the first time in a long time! So I'm going to take a nap on his bed. We sleep in separate rooms because he snores. I didn't hear much snoring last night however
