Here with morning coffee, hoping to ensure another good day. The sun is out so already a good start.
IGNORE ME - If I'm not transparent, my day will wither away.

Friday, the 9th of April
• start the washing
• clip Alice's nails one was too close, nipped flesh, bled for ages, day did NOT go well afterwards
• work - RAP analysis of Q23 - 27 over an hour done, more to go
60min dog walk
• the week's Cathe chrono (76min, Maximum Intensity Strength) only today or tomorrow and my 'week' is up

Waving to everyone!

4/7 - more gardening, finally finished mulching and weeding (for now)
2 miles with Leslie
4/8 - dog walk and the cleaning has begun
GHU Kettlebell Circuits
GHU Interval Walk done on the treadmill

Susan - I would also like to thank you for all you do. The toll the pandemic has taken on us is nothing compared to health care workers. Thank you and your co-workers. And any time you want to rant, feel free. It's the internet and we can skip over it if we want and you get to vent. Not a problem!
We've been doing primarily yard work in prep for the get together, but I also have a vegetable garden that we expanded after we retired. We have 2 4X12' beds and some more on the side yard that includes my raspberry patch. We also have a few blueberry bushes, but they did not produce last year. I grow mostly typical stuff: tomatoes ( several varieties that change each year), zucchini, green beans, arugula, cucumbers, peppers and eggplant. I usually try at least one new plant each year, not always successful. Last year we grew spaghetti squash very successfully, but realized we are not big fans. Same with Swiss chard, it grew like crazy, but we weren't crazy about it. So far I have snow peas started, but need to wait a few weeks to plant anything else. I will be trying spinach and carrots this year.
Helen - how long until buddy's workout area is ready, or is that an unkown?
Pam - good to see you back! Canada seems to have more restrictions than we do, which is probably good.
Cleda - running and riding and rowing!

When I saw "finished mulching and weeding" I thought they NEVER finish, then we onto "(for now)", and smiled.
I don't associate you much with kettlebells - do you like them? Have you learned not to bruise your forearms?! (my form is awful - but haven't reached a whole bunch of virgins yet to learn better).
Buddy - new space - don't know, but it's very close. She was told end of March, but that was before so much rain.

PAM
That's a decent bit of activity - 7.5km, with hills - sounds lovely. I prefer the kind of foliage that grows in hilly areas than on the flat, and the view from the top.

APRIL - NO EXCUSES!! Today WILL be better.

Saturday, the 10th of April
• more washing, including 2 dog bed covers with blood on them from yesterday
starting to feel... flat, shall rearrange below into a priority order and FOLLOW IT.
• maths questions for student (messenger)
10min, Kassandra - 30 Day Challenge Morning Yoga - Day 01
80min, walk Alice
buddy called - needs to jump NOW, wrong tiles put on splashback in kitchen of new build
35min, Billy Blanks - Cardio Circuit 1, with buddy
• washing
• Pushup, Incline, Hands on step (4th step - aim 33+, did 36)
• weeding
well I certainly was overly optimistic this morning! (pushing 8pm now) But it was a MUCH better day - didn't make Alice bleed at least. DH phoned for ages & buddy &co visited as well. Best go & get that MIS done & a late-night MILE with Alice down by the harbour.
76min, Maximum Intensity Strength
DAILY MILE with Alice

oh yes! it was another good day

Just going to check in

No time. Got way behind. Need to just post and run (literally)!

4/8/2021: 45 mins. CVV Pro Cyclist Ride, 5 mins. Post ride stretch, PM: 20 mins. Carribean run with Chase Tucker, 10 mins. No Pressure Row (Breathe)

4/9/2021: 5 mins. Run Warm Up, 30 mins. Justin Bieber Run, 30 minutes Bradley Rose Ride, 5 mins. Post ride stretch

4/10/2021: 20 mins. Interval run, 10 mins. Cool down walk, 5 minute Core, 20 mins. Recovery Ride w/Ally, 15 mins. Full Body Stretch Rebecca Kennedy, 10 ins. Chest & Back stretch w/ Selena

4/11/2021: Ifit Run/walk (30 mins.), 60 minutes Power Zone Endurance Ride w/Matt, 10 mins. Cool down ride w/Cody, 5 mins. Post Ride Stretch, 10 mins. Yoga Flow Chest Openers (yes! for the challenge - otherwise, nope. Would not voluntarily do this)

Side notes:

Justin Bieber run: nice. Worth trying (Lili!) It's not tough and not a frantic pace. some intervals? I think and some incline

Ifit run: awful. I'm going to try some of the other workouts. But if this workout is any indication of the others on the app? I'm glad it's a FREE trial. If I'dda paid for it, I'd be angry. BLECH ..... The commercials make it seem so nice. I hope this was just not my style and I find some good ones.

That's it for now.
Waves to all.
Have a good week

Cleda - don't you hate it when you don't like a workout? It just feels like a waste of your time and energy. Maybe preview another one while doing something else?
Helen - you have been crushing the workouts! You are right, the weeding never ends! But for now, it is under control. I don't know how I feel about kettlebells. I tried them several times back when Kyra was in this check-in (how long ago was that?), I even bought several DVDs to expand my horizons. They are still virgins. This came up on the GHU rotation I just started, Fit over 40, so I decided to try it. It was not as intense as the original one I did, Sarah Lurie, maybe? Those I always felt the next day! I don't think I bruised myself, but it was not 100% kettlebell moves as I remember them.

4/9 - cleaning and dog walk
Walk Across America, Ohio (this one had wind noises and the background was just okay).
Classical Stretch S4:E15
4/10 - slightly extended dog walk after the party
4/11 - dog walk
Cathe's Cardio Party without the optional Blast

Tuesday, the 13th of April
incline pushups (4th step, aiming for 36+, did 39)
20min, Adriene - Dedicate - Day 19 Listen

daily mile/walk Alice since we were at the breakwall to try skating anyway & it's a mile to the end & back
rota-minor=cardio+abs: 10min, Zuzka - Ab Challenge (24-Feb-11)

buddy dipped out on me tonight - she had her vaccine and isn't feeling great

You're not alone with the virgin kettlebell workouts!
My weeding is NOT under control - particularly things in amongst the cacti, because I have dread factor to get it done - the spikes!

CLEDA
I agree with Lili that a workout you didn't like feels like a waste of time, but I'm certain you'll have given it your best effort though.
I don't know much about Justin Bieber, apart from he made music, and prompted a whole lot of high school kids to have the same haircut.
But glad you had one you liked in the mix too.

Waving madly at PAM, SUSAN, & SARAH!
We need you ALL!!!
