Rediscovering Barre - Need Recommendations

I've dusted off my fluidity barre and want to try a 30 day barre rotation, which I've never done before. I'm not very flexible at the moment and have had total knee replacement surgery. Any recommendations for gentle barre starter workouts? Preference is for ones found on YouTube until I see how much I like it but then will be willing to order dvds.

I've always used my fluidity barre for pushups, pullups and stretching but never for actual barre workouts!

If you are on Facebook, Bar Method is doing 30 minute live workouts on weekdays. They are archived on their Facebook page if the live time is not convenient.

Bar Method is anything but easy! I have dread factor with Bar Method. I like Suzanne Bowen or Barre 3 as they are on the slightly gentler side, IMHO

Oh my goodness - I would say just the opposite. I find Bar Method to be easier - not as cardio intensive as Barre3 and generally easier to modify than Suzanne's stuff. Bar Method is generally very deliberate in their movements, and that makes it easier for me to modify.

Funny!

Barlates has this Beginner Barre workout that I've bookmarked. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=deugyy...dex=11&t=1424s

I also like Bar Method.

I believe Jessica Smith has a few Barre-esque workouts in YouTube.

i am very old school - callanetics with Callan Pinckney.

she emphasizes gentle.

Kathy Smith's Total Body Lift is a barre workout and pretty good. i like Suzanne Bowen a lot too. her first BarreAmped is great, and if you have her 10MS PIlates perfect body is barre-ish.

hope you're feeling better!

I'm not on Facebook so those are out. I'll look up some of these others in the meantime.

I'm definitely looking for more stretching and strength than cardio.

The old Lotte Berk workouts were nice to start with! There are a TON of good workouts on youtube. I'm more of a high intensity and faster paced barre workout but I know there are more slower stretchy ones. I was playing around with them when my gym closed from the stupid virus.
