Me too! I noticed that they have a store in Tyson's Corner in DC. I may be in DC this summer. If so, I will try to visit the store. Maybe they'll have a half off sale. But even with that, I don't know that I would want to pay the $40 per month.

Oh, who am I kidding. I'd pay it.

The Peloton is sexy & over rated

Personally, I have used the peloton for a while and honestly, I can't imagine buying my own. I personally use the Sunny Health and Fitness SFB1509 w/ a spin computer. That does plenty for me. Wrote a little review on the Sunny brand a while back. Check out Amazon for a good spin computer, shouldn't cost more than like 50 bucks. You'll get way more out of a fair priced bike/computer than a 2000 dollar bike with a good name.

Thanks for all of this helpful info!! The Sunny bike looks awesome, was it hard to assemble? I don't mind paying the monthly for the Peloton app, and this seems like a great way to achieve the fun of Peloton without the huge bike cost.

Thanks for the tip on the Tyson's store. I might have to check it out. By the way, if you visit, you can metro there now (Silver Line).

This was posted over a year ago, and I ended up buying a Peloton Bike. I am very happy with the purchase. Before I bought it, I used the Peloton app with a bike computer and regular spin bike. It worked well, but I did not like that I could only quantify speed but not resistance.

Around Christmas, my husband decided he wanted a Peloton, and with both of us, we decided it was worth it for us. I am very happy we bought it. But it is a HUGE expense. I can see how some would feel it's not worth the price.
