Speaking of people buying exercise equipment- I was stalking my Aldi for the price of soft weights and weighted vest to go on sale. Others at VF had commented that they were on sale at their Aldi so I was waiting for the sale at my local Aldi since they had a ton on the shelf. Well, this virus hit and now all the weights are gone. Bummer.

I think I read Les Mills was out of their equipment. I never looked into it because it is way out of my price range.

DH just sold some kettlebells on Craigslist. I didn't think he'd get interest because they're quite large but apparently someone was needing them for their home workouts!

This is a really good way of looking at it. Instead of me being a homebody, I'm a trendsetter!

My cousin sent out an email (to a hundred people, I think, all friends and family) and included a link to an online workout streaming site, encouraging everyone to stay healthy, even though the gyms are closed. So I replied to her (only her, not everyone) with a photo of my workout area and the DVD shelves. I didn't want to seem as if I were bragging, so I toned it down a little and offered to share info with her. I think I scared her off. I haven't heard back

I have been thinking of buying a spin bike for a while. I picked one out and just kept putting it off. Now I'm going to wait until this is over and check the Craigslist ads. Now that I think of it, I do feel for people who rely on the gym and may not have many options right now.

So I may not have a stockpile of TP, but I am prepared in other ways.

I was thinking the exact same thing on the bike and some other equipment, that perhaps when the crazy is over, people will be unloading stuff they bought and I can score a great deal!

People that normally lift at a remote gym are opting to build home gyms. Strength equipment suppliers like Rogue, Titan Fitness, Rep Fitness, Vulcan Strength, etc. are out of stock on most of their squat racks, olympic weights, and dumbbells. Rogue manufactures their racks in Ohio, but the demand has been so great that they can't keep up. I've also heard that Rogue is gearing up to manufacture medical supplies.
