Glad to see you posting Helen. Since I can't really work from home, I'm one of the weirdos who seems to have some extra time that isn't accounted for.

Good to see you back, Helen!

Buff, I forget why you don't follow a preset running plan to build up gradually?

Sandy, you have been racking up a ton of minutes!

Since we were up north for 11 days, during which time I only walked once and spent most of the rest of the time on the couch crocheting, I figured last week should just be getting back to good walks. I think now I will aim to run a mile a day for the next two weeks and then switch to either the 10k trainer app I usually use or a plan on MapMyRun. I will probably be taking Cyric with me since hubby is working from home. If Cyric sees a dog outside he will bark and annoy hubby. It's good to get him running anyway, just limits me as I have to avoid all dogs.

Today's the day - full-on live online teaching lessons.
Buddy isn't coming to the house any more, we're doing simultaneous YouTube workouts, hitting play at the same time, and have phone setup with FaceTime to literally keep an eye on each other doing it.

Last week was the longest week in a loooong time - first week of 'stay at home'.

Helen, good on you finding a way to get 'er done.

buff, I looked at Bodywisdom and just didn't feel the vibe. I did find my GymBoss. It was in my lunchbox. I guess I was doing 2:30 run/:30 walk. Well, I have to start somewhere this spring. 2:00 walk/1:00 run seems like a doable starting point. Once I see my body can handle it, I'll start moving towards more running and less walking.

Vannie, there may be a lot more minutes than previous years, but I'm not working since we moved, and the majority are from walking. I used to get in a lot of walking working part time at the store.

Helen, hope the online teaching goes well. I think MN schools were supposed to start the distance learning today.

Glad you found your Gymboss, Sandy.

This morning we walked 3.33 mi then I ran 1.46 mi and did a Classical Stretch episode. I meant to do more. I don't know where the morning goes.

Tuesday
66min Richard Simmons - Sweatin' to the Oldies via YouTube, with buddy on FaceTime, seems weird BUT buddy wanted easy & fun & I boosted everything WAY UP, to sweat.

Wanted to to my own heavy weights thing, but she's bored and lonely - I caved. I'm still working, MORE hours than usual. and I've actually NEVER done a Richard Simmons workout, so it satisfied my curiosity as well.

Wednesday is our usual "weights day" anyway, so.....

This morning we walked 3.23 mi and then I ran 1.53 mi and did the next CS episode. I need to get some cleaning done, for real. My support group is meeting by Zoom at 3:30 this afternoon. I got Zoom downloaded on my computer, hope it works!

Helen, I think goofy feel-good workouts are a great idea right now!

Mrs Muscle kicked my booty this am.

Vannie - Let me know how you like the strong and calm at doyouyoga. Sooo much content out there at this time, it's a VFer's dream!

ETA: Anyone going to do the workouts Cathe is posting on Facebook? Cathe and free aren't words that usually go together. Wondering how much I'll have to modify due to my toe, but wanting to try.

I didn't even see Cathe had workouts posted, but I probably won't do them. They looked good and short for Cathe.

Ange has a Theraband workout posted.

So far, three Katja workouts done, and I loved them all. I'm doing the 7 day challenge she posted earlier this year starting today along with Kassandra's 30 day 10 minute challenge. This month I have to start the jog/walk intervals, and I should get some weight work done.
