Pam, thank you for starting the March thread.

This morning:

Zumba Activate (40 minutes) I had given up on Zumba years ago. At that time I could not pick up the steps. Now I could pick up the steps, but could not keep up with their speed! I still had fun. I may go pull out an older more beginner one to try instead before doing others from the newer sets.

Yoga Upload 30 minute floor practice

I am going to try to do meditation later.

Sherry

Hello everyone!

Today’s offerings:
~ETV: Sahra’s original Full Body Toning - standing segment - I’m going back to basics and will teach this on Tues. it’s basically the old Precho 1 that I’d did for my level 1 apprentice classes.
~YouTube standing stretch

Sherry - I’ve never done any Zumba DVDs. I went to a couple of classes on our Alaskan cruise a few years ago and they were fun. They were very basic & I can see how a fast paced class could be hard to follow.

(((Hugs))) to Pat & waves to all!

Thanks, Pam!

Today is a rest day, but I wanted to do something.

I did Scott Cole's Yoga and Tai Chi, 52 minutes. It was perfect!

Hi everyone and Happy Moan Day.

Thank you for starting us Pam, and thanks so much for the hug. It's just unbelievable, we're still mourning my sister. Oh well. How is your toe?

Hi to Sherry and anyone who joins us.

Leap Day - walk with DS.

Yesterday - gym for mostly cardio.

Pat- sending you hugs. There is no time limit or time frame for grief.

I still have DOMS in my abs from doing a short ab segment in a Yoga Booty Ballet workout on Friday! I really need to do regular core work!

Post and run - "Rainy Days and Mondays" kept running through my head. I would've much rather been curled up on my bed with a quilt, good book and cup of hot tea than sitting at a computer watching the rain.

Pat - I'm so sorry you're had another loss - big ((hug)) to you.

Sherry - I love that Yoga and Tai Chi practice of Scott's. Zero dread.

Pam - I'm glad you made it home safely. OMG, hadn't thought of Lewis Grizzard in many years.

Hope all is well with Kate, Jackie and Margot.

Good morning everyone. Light day yesterday. I am doing a three day Pilates program on Glo - called Let's Start at the Very Beginning. It was the first Glo stinker I've ever encountered. First off I didn't care for the teacher; also, she starts day one of "very beginners" right off with one-legged bridges and then one-legged bridges with raising and lowering the opposite leg, then marching in place, with your butt up in the air. Huh? Beginner? Before bed I enjoyed a lovely Tias Little meditation to make up for it.

Sherry - I always thought YBB has great core work and the squishy ball is good for the pelvic floor, too.

Cyana, thank you for the hug. We're all struggling with the new normal. Good luck with your work load!

Hello to anyone who visits.

Pat, I could not believe the DOMS from that little YBB segment. I did buy their abs and core dvd, and now I'm scare to try it! I hate trying a new teacher and not clicking with them. It feels like a waste of time.

Cyana, so happy to see you!

Hi to Pam, Jackie , Kate and Margot.

This morning:

Body Combat #65 30 minute version plus 5 minute added on cooldown

Yoga Upload-Hips, thighs and back practice 15 minutes

I may do some light cardio later. The kickboxing kicked me in the behind! I haven't done it in awhile. I need to work back up to their 55 minute classes.

Have a great day!
Sherry

Hello ladies!! Already into March! I swear I was just getting ready for Valentines day!

Just a quick drive by. All good here. I'm still doing my morning workouts and still saving lunch for Yoga. I'm not sure where I left off but starting in March:
Yesterday was Power Yoga Monica Shao Calming Twists. She has very sweet practices on the PY site. Today I think I'll do another one of hers called Twist and Shout.

Oh BTW I ended up doing some Travis Eliot Yin Yoga from PY on Friday. I listened to my body and went for the Yin. I needed to calm my mind also so that worked well.

Have a GREAT week everyone. I love reading about all your great practices!!
Back later.
