December - Ellen? Beachbody? Beach Babes? Jillian? What to do? What to do?

2. Leslie 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk - first 3 miles
3. Jari Ripped & Chiseled - lower, back, biceps, shoulders. I was feeling strong when I made it through the first part of shoulders using 8s (sometimes I have to start with 5s), but somehow when we dropped to 5s, it felt worse! It was so much harder. Then we got to biceps and I made it to the 3:45 mark before I had to drop to 5s. Ugh. But I was able to do hammer curls using 8s. Added on Party off the Pounds - one song
4. KCM Lean Body Circuits - lean body cardio premix, added on POTP - one chapter, forgot the moves so mostly flailed
5. Jari R&C - all lower, all chest, pullovers, all triceps. my right biceps are killing me. I didn't feel it until hours after today's workout, and I didn't work the biceps today. I hope I didn't hurt myself
6. Leslie - 2 miles from one dvd, 1 from another. my biceps were back to normal, but triceps were darn sore
7. Jari - R&C : warm up, lunges, squats, deadlifts. Ugh, my weak grip. I was holding 15s the whole time and when I finally put them down to put in the second dvd, my hands were feeling it. I just gave them a quick stretch before moving on. Weights & Abs: all. My legs were jelly during the plie and side to side squats. I accidentally grabbed different weights for back, (15s left, 12 right), then did it again for biceps (12 left, 10 right). oops! Oh well, the left side probably could use it more.
8. Leslie 3 miles, POTP 2 songs - I think I'm tired of Leslie and Jessica, so I don't know what I'll do for my "walk". It may be time to get acquainted with Gina Buber, since her walks seem fun. (I almost did BootCamp Boogie but wasn't in the mood to learn something new. GMTA, Sugar!)
9. Jari R&C - lunges (I'd been doing them on the floor out of laziness, but decided to set up the step. ouch! My behind was really feeling it)squats, deadlifts, back rows, shoulders (omg, this never gets easy), biceps & hammer curls.
10. Jazzercise Burlesque - this is so much fun! I did the 20 minute quick workout, which I thought had new material from the main workout, but didn't. grrr But I think they did a good job picking the chapters. I did an extra chapter, then threw in POTP, which was a disappointment after Burlesque. LOL Talk about two entirely different dance workouts. I did "If I Could Turn Back Time" because it looked fun when I let it play while I stretched the other day, but it wasn't.

12. Jari R&C - this was supposed to have been a lower body day, but my right knee felt weird, so I did upper body instead. all chest, triceps, and shoulders. Then did Leslie's Walk off Fat Fast - 20 minute walk
13. Jessica Smith Dance Walk - didn't I just say that I was tired of Leslie and Jessica? I'm such a liar. That's god, though, because I have lots of their dvds and don't need anything new.
14. Jessica, Viveca, Jari - JS 15 minute fast fat blast, Viveca Piloxing Express Toning - butt & thighs. "Oh, darn, I forgot to put on ankle weights." 10 seconds later: "ouch! i'm so glad i forgot the ankle weights." Jari R&C back rows, pullovers, biceps and hammers.
15. Jessica - 30 minute Power Pyramid Walk + 15 minute fast fat blast
16. Jessica,Viveca,T.A. - Jessica 15 minute walk, Viveca Piloxing Express Toning - butt & thighs, finished with TA Precision Toning - arms, love when we get to the weights because it feels like I'm getting a rest.
17. Jessica, XTF Personal Trainer - first 10 minutes of Jessica's HiiT Walk, XTF PT Endurance Cardio, last 20 minutes of HiiT Walk. I'd only done this XTF workout two or three times, and I remember it being tough the second round with only 5 seconds rest, but I didn't feel it today, thankfully! I think my 10 minute warm up was the reason.
18. KCM, Viveca,TA - KCM Start Here - Cardio Sculpting premix (misnomer, there's no cardio), Piloxing butt & thighs; TA PT - arms

21. Leslie, HiiT - Leslie 1 mile walk, jogging mile, 1 mile walk, Fit at 40+ hiit - this one has alternating standing and floor exercises, so some VFers would hate it
22. Leslie, Tom Holland - 1 mile walk, Tom Holland Total Body Workout 2. I felt like doing combination moves, but couldn't think of any dvds that might have combo moves (as I type this, I thought of Jillian's workouts, and Pink Method, maybe next month, as I plan to do TBW2 again on Tuesday)
23. Bootcamp Boogie - Sugar told me it was more bootcamp than boogie, and she was right, which is a good thing for me because I have two left feet. I had trouble with the four singles jogs, 3 and 1, and 1 and 3 on the left side, no problem on the right. haha That's so weird when that happens. Overall, it was fun, although a bit repetitive.
24. Leslie, Tom Holland - ugh, i don't exactly remember if I did 1 or 2 miles, since I didn't write it on my calendar. TH TBW2, using a step for forward and rear lunges, using 8s, 5s, and 3s instead of 5 and 3 like last time.

1 - We did drive up (about an hour, 40 min) to visit my friend. They had just taken Heidi off the ventilator when I arrived so she couldn't talk much, but she definitely recognized me. I held her hand and she looked at me when I talked to her. She's in a lot of pain & pretty out of it from the meds. There is a long recovery road ahead, but we think Heidi has turned the corner! Thank you so much for all your prayers!

2 - Peloton Jenn Classic Rock 11/26/19--48 min, 12.0 miles, 288 cal.
3 - KCM Body Design Upper Body Strength + Strength & Stamina Step add-on
4 - YT Leslie 3 Mile Heart Assn Walk--wore my 4# weighted vest and held 1# DBs for all but the last 10 minutes. This is a good workout for when you don't want to think.
5 - KCM RAW Intervals #4--I really like this one--makes me feel good & strong! Takes me forever though: I pause the vid & do the weight work on my own because Kelly goes too fast for me. Then I rest while she does the weights, then on to cardio, etc. Oh well--today I had the time for that.
6 - Peloton HMC 60s 12/5/19--58 min, 14.5 miles, 346 cal.
7 - 63 push ups + Peloton Arms Toning + Leslie Walk Blasters Advanced Walk premix--did 20 min of the Leslie with my 4# weighted vest.
8 - Jessica Power Pyramid Walk + Lee Holden Day 22 of 30 Day Qi Gong Challenge

9 - Peloton Christine Endurance 12/8/19--63 min, 14.4 miles, 317 cal.
10 - KCM RAW Ripped & Ride December 2019--Kelly always offers 2 cardio options on her Ripped & Ride classes: riding the bike & something else (jogging, etc). I usually do the bike riding, but this month she did boxing, so I did that with her today. I really love the combo of boxing & weights!
11 - Rest
12 - KCM Cardio Pump Interval Pump premix--this is a worthy workout!!
13 - Peloton rides--61 min, 14.7 miles, 369 cal. I did a 10 min warm up + 3 15-min "Move for More" rides. If you do 3 of these rides this week, Peloton will donate to a kids' charity.
14 - KCM RAW Boxing & Drills--lots of holiday happenings today, so went to this 29-minute go-to workout. Wore my 4# vest & used 1# dumbbells for the boxing segments. Very worthy for such a short workout!
15 - 2 Jenny Ford March workouts --Found volumes 1 & 2 of her March Across America series on Amazon Prime. Did Colorado & Arizona today for a total workout time of about an hour. I appreciated the easy moves and the lovely scenery. My friend Heidi is in rehab now and she called me today!! I really liked him; he seems to have a good, positive personality & had the best (to my ears) holiday playlist I found on Peloton. Thanks, everyone, for being so supportive about my friend!

19 - 6.71 mile walk + LS Walk Blasters Light Walk + KCM RAW Upper Body Finisher--gorgeous day here so we walked at a state park nearby. It was our first long-ish walk of the "cool season" so we were a little sore by the end. Happy with myself that I came home & did the Leslie & upper body work. We saw: 3 hawks, 2 bald eagles, 2 great horned owls, 4 dolphins, 2 armadillos & " an osprey in a pine tree " (Actually saw many osprey in many pine trees, but I couldn't resist, ha!)
20 - Peloton Jenn 70s Rock 11/5/19--58 min, 14.7 miles, 355 cal.
21 - 63 push ups + Peloton Arms Toning + KCM Stepboxing 2 Combined Workouts premix--no drills, no step on the KCM
22 - Jenny Ford March Across America--Illinois & Idaho for about an hour total. I have done something to my always-wonky R shoulder. Had actual pain (as opposed to soreness) last night; did some stretch & DH massage, took a couple of Tylenol (stomach can't tolerate ibuprofen). Feels better today, but didn't want to chance the weighted vest irritating it. I probably shouldn't have done all that upper body work yesterday.
23 - 2 30 minute Holiday rides on Peloton app--64 min, 15.8 miles, 370 cal.

26 - KCM RAW Home Gym Intervals 1 + Peloton Hannah C. Motown 12/22/19--58 min, 14.5 miles, 349 cal. (Fitbit said 429 cal including the weight work). I used lower weights to protect my still wonky (but recovering) R shoulder.
27 - 7.36 mile walk at a county park. We saw a stork, wild parrots & 2 gopher tortoises.
28 - 2 Peloton Arm workouts (20 min total) + Peloton Fun Rock Walk--meant to be done on the treadmill (which I don't have one) so I made up my own moves to the music. I needed a fun, different workout today.
29 - Jenny Ford March Across America--Texas and Arizona for about 64 minutes, about 60% of it with my 4 lb weighted vest.

30 - Peloton Denis 80s 11/2/19--58 min, 14.7 miles, 357 cal.
31- Happy New Year's Eve!!

December Total = 25
2019 Yearly Total = 286 (78.4%)

(2019 total is down 2 from last year; down 11 from my peak year of 2015 at 297, but not bad considering I took about 10 days off in March after I fell)
