I don’t click with her workouts as much as others, but I do think she puts thought into her workouts and I believe she also said she taught classes locally to her before she made DVDs, and she was/is a personal trainer.

I don’t think someone needs to necessarily teach large groups to design good work outs. They will click with some people and not others. What I think is harder to do when working out with DVDs or streaming on your own is to have a sensibly balanced program, but that is the same when using Barlates or Cathe or anything else.

Can someone tell me how you would use this 8 wo set? The reason I ask is that all of the WOs use weights, bands or loop bands. I was a huge Firmie and I did their weighted WOs daily for years. Now that I’m older that’s not something I do.

My question isn’t meant to diss Linda - I really like what I’ve seen and done so far. I’m just trying to understand how people use these Total Body Sets.

I don't have this set, but I've done some Barlates. Like total-body barre, I personally wouldn't do total-body Barlates every day. I'd probably do it three days a week, alternating with cardio or yoga.

Thank you Laura. That’s more or less how I see myself using them, though I’m thoroughly enjoying the shorter “parts” workouts right now.
