need help with weight training program using golds gym home trainer
I've been trying to balance a strong upper body workout with my on the door cable system. So far I came up with
Chest/back:
Chest press
Rows
Cable crossovers
Incline flye.....using stability ball
Low cable crossovers
Front lat pull down
Banana,superman.
Shoulders:
Overhead press
Cable rear felt clues
Lat pulldowns
Alt. Side lateral.....had to do one side at a time due to limited space
Front raise
Biceps,triceps:
Biceps curls
Tri extensions
Overhead cable curl
Overhead extension
Big s cable curls
Tri pushdowns
I want to train my upper body twice weekly. Haven't started working on the lower body yet but the basic format I was looking for will Apply to both muscle groups.
Each large muscle should be worked for 120 reps weekly. Smaller muscles 60 reps per week. Tried to incorporate same amount of push/pull for each muscle group. Am I over thinking it? I've been working on this for hours,believe it or not.
