New Jari Love and a ?

Just wanted to share that on Jari's FB page she mentioned she's in the middle of filming 2 new DVDs! I'm excited for this. Now onto my question.....I really like Jari's newer workouts (the extremely series). I liked the compound moves and the cardio affect not so much the set. Anyways, how are Jari's original workouts (slim and lean, ripped to the core, ripped and chiseled)? I was thinking of getting them from Mary's sale. Are they worth having?

I prefer her original workouts from the newer ones with the darker sets. But I would say you probably don't need all of them, they are pretty much the same thing over and over.

Ripped to the Core is compound moves and the hardest I think of the originals.

I love Slim and Lean and one of my favorites is Ripped and Chiseled. The original Ripped is pretty good too. But I think all her videos are light weights/high reps and I've been overdoing that. It's just not working for me as well anymore, I had to really pack on some poundage in the lifting arena so I could get some additional results.

Hopefully in her new ones she will keep the step the same way or not keep alternating with it not using it,that put me off her last ones I haven't got room to keep turning it round, to be honest I'm not really excited bout her doing anymore

I prefer the older ones to her newer ones with the darker set as well. Her newer set makes me think I'm working out in a club . It's a bit hard to see what she is doing sometimes. I also think her form got a little sloppier in the newer releases.

If you like the newer ones I would say skip the old ones. I kept S & L and R & C and they are good workouts but you don't break a sweat/get much cardio effect. I look for that in a strength workout so I never really do them. RTTC might be better as you do upper/lower body moves which raise the HR. HTH.

Ripped 1000 has compound moves as well (in addition to cardio bursts).

I forgot about that one! Yes, the OP would likely enjoy it.

That was my very first Jari!

Ripped to the Core, Slim & Lean and Ripped 1000 are the best!
Stay far from Ripped & Chiseled it's DRY - even the background cast is not into it.
I think the updated, "extremely ripped" version of Ripped&Chiseled is much more fun.
