Nice workout day for you yesterday Pat! I’d say any activity that gets you out of the house and moving is exercise, including grocery shopping. The meditation challenge sound lovely!

Back later to post my day.

Waves & hugs to all!

Today:

Soul Sweat with Lucy "be creative" class 55 minutes. I was so glad I had the energy to finish it!

Yoga Upload post workout stretch

I attempted a meditation from Boho Beautiful, but my brain was too fired up. I may try again right before bed.

I will post personals tomorrow.

Back to post today’s movement:
~Essentrics class on Zoom taught by my friend
~6 km trail walk
~ePilates: Pilates Overball Class 1 - This was very nice, 30 min, used a squishy Pilates ball. It had some inclined core work similar to Barre3 which I’ve always liked. Also lots of Glute work, all in all effective & enjoyable with excellent instruction.
~My own yoga practice....headstand, forward bends, gentle back bends, hip openers

Waves to all!

Good morning,

I woke up at 4:30 am and did not really fall back to sleep. Ugh!

This morning I did:

Soul Sweat World Heat with Sara Jane class-55 minutes. I was able to finish it. My heart rate and calorie burn are still lower than they used to be, but at least I did it.

I will do yoga and attempt meditation later.

Sherry

Pam, was the overball class with the "overball lady?" - Forget first name but last name Bender?

Sherry, congrats on finishing your 55 minute Soul Sweat, good job.

Ah April. Normally I'd be happy for Spring but I'm just not feeling it yet with all the virus stuff. Try as I might, I still worry and meditation is a struggle at times.

Pam: Thanks for getting the new thread started. How are things up in Canada regarding the virus? Do they shut down any of the towns/provinces?

Sherry: If you're interested, I REALLY like Stephen Proctor's meditation. He's on Insight Timer but also has his own site. https://midlmeditation.com/
Very nice, simple lessons all different lengths. Hope you get better sleep soon.

Pat: I sure hope you'll be safe in CT! Did we "make it" through March?

Waves to anyone I missed.

Still working thru more older Cathe workouts, some Michelle Dozois too.
Yesterday I did a practice by David Magone on Gaia called Intermediate Practice. There were a couple of hellacious hard moves which I just modified but the rest was good. I would consider it Advanced though.

Still pondering today's practice.
Take care girls!

Hello yoginis!

Today’s activities:
~1 hour of gardening, as a non gardener, that’s my limit.
~Walking Online Workouts: Park Walk - I decided to do a month subscription again as I love the music & her non verbal cuing. Sometimes silence is golden, lol.
~Jackie’s Essentrics class on Zoom
~Ellen’s Prayer Flow - I do love this one, an all standing blend of yoga & a little ballet, some nice balance work too. My sub ends next week and as much as I love Ellen, I’m not feeling the love for a lot of her newer workouts.

Sending you (((hugs))) Kate, this virus sure has put a damper on spring. We are locked down pretty much across the country & have been for close to 2 weeks now, only essential businesses open and maybe a few takeout restaurants. They’ve put up plexiglass shields at a lot of cash registers. People are social distancing or isolating. We are getting more cases, but so far it hasn’t skyrocketed. That may come, but we are hoping it will start to level out in the next week or two from the shut down.

Pat - The “overball” class was by Emma Jory, ePilates is her website. I’ve never heard it called an overball, maybe that’s be a Southern Hemisphere thing? She is Australian & lives in Malaysia.

Sherry - Glad you got your full SS workout in today!

Waves to all!

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a "force yourself to do it" day. I enjoyed a cardio workout from Jane's Firm & Burn and finished off Prime Time with the floor work. Also day 2 of the meditation challenge. It's really helping to dial in at 7:00 and know these ladies will be there.

I got my second Shingrix shot yesterday. I called to double check and was very surprised the pharmacy was still giving them. There was a guard outside, letting only one person in at a time. The window was barricaded like a Wells Fargo truck. I feel just fine, my arm is hardly even sore.

Hi Kate, thanks for the referral to Stephen Proctor, I'll check him out. How are things in your neck of the woods?

Pam, I've wondered too why in some workouts the Pilates ball is called an overball. I hope your COVID cases do level out soon. Is your area less densely populated than a city?

Good morning Sherry, Cyana and anyone who joins us today. TGIF!
