Are there pull-overs in that workout?
That's one move I think could make the armpit area sore.

(are you sore, Cynthia? I wasn't sure. )

The other day, after doing a cardio the day after a weight workout, I was sitting on my balance disc (that I use for a chair in front of the laptop that is on my Fanny Lifter) forum visiting, and my buttocks started aching. something about these workouts hits the booty way down deep, at least for me!

I think a weight belt (I can make one with my 2 Ironwear ankle weights) is a better idea than a weight vest for the Burn phase, because of the forward-leaning lunges in the workouts. A weight vest might put too much stress on the lower back, while a belt would add intensity to the lower body without putting the back at risk.

See my post right above. ^

No that was today in Circuit 3.

I think that is what I like best about CLX.
I feel the booty pain goes deeper in the push phase. I had pain higher in the glutes/hip area, and deep in the cheeks during the burn phase. With push phase, there is the added bonus of lower cheek pain. I don't know if I've ever felt glute pain in the region before

The tap lunges involve all of the thigh and booty muscles on the way up.
Today, I was shaking so hard during the one legged sumo squats.

Hats off to you guys who wear a weighted vest. I tried using my V-vest loaded at 20 lbs today for Burn 3 and ended up taking it off about halfway through the workout. Not only was it much tougher, but the shoulder straps are wide making it pretty hard to do the shoulder work, which really exhausted my shoulders.

For you kettlebell lovers, I added on Lauren's Quick Fat Loss workout at the end of Burn 3. I used an 18 lb. kettlebell for 99% of the workout. For two hand swings I used a 26 lb. kettlebell.

Beth, thank you for your list. I never would have thought that Jari's RTTC would make a good sub.

I don't know what vest you have? Did you mean the X-vest?

I'm using Cathe's 10lb vest. It doesn't get in the way at all. I know I couldn't handle a 20lb vest!!! No wonder you took it off

I have two from this website. This is the one I wore this morning:

V-Max

This the other one that I have. The straps are 1/2 inch narrower. I should have used this one. I have 10 lbs. loaded in it, which I use for walk, Leslie's workouts, and some of my kickboxing workouts.

V-Max basketball

Debbie do you find that you get hot wearing the vest? It looks hot to me.

Yes, I do get hot and I can't wear it out in the trails during the summer.
