Yeah, probably Beast. But you can make fairly decent gains with Burn Sets and at a fraction of the "grueling" factor. It's been a while since I did Body Beast but I remember thinking there was plenty of overkill. And that's saying something coming from a lifelong Cathe habit. The Beast workouts were often shorter on average but they felt longer. And, in case you can't tell from my description, I still liked both programs.

Thank you sooooo much for this! I wasn't going to go off my no buy, but I was wondering if I should kick myself for not getting this, as it was a great deal and does use heavy weights. Your description (along with the super beefcakes in the clips) make me so not want this set now. Thank you, again for the disenabling

I keep going back and forth whether to get this one or not. Some people love this workout, others not so much. I am just about to start CLX/TurboFire after finishing with LMP. Do most feel this is a good workout and worth the money?

Thanks for the replies. Still on the fence.... RKS came back down... Hummm... And I asked about Burn Sets but don't have it.... This wouldn't be happening if I was actually doing videos instead of running 4 days a week... maybe....

I do love Burn Sets too! Cathe gets alot done in about 15 minutes per body part. If you're looking for a dvd to do an upper body part per day, this would be the dvd to get.

I got my Body Beast yesterday! I'm doing a homemade periodization where I do 3-4 weeks of barre/bodyweight, then 3-4 weeks of light weight/high rep, then 3-4 weeks of heavy weights -- rinse, repeat, and keep going to yoga classes. I'm halfway through a Jari phase right now, so when I'm done with that, I'll try Body Beast for my heavy phase. I am honestly not sure I'll ever want to do a full rotation of the Beast program, but I think it might be good for 3-4 weeks.
