Mercury Retrograde Survival Workouts

For anyone that follows astrology (or just need healing workouts to cope) ...

Aww man, this mercury retro is really strong for me, just hanging by a thread!

I am at crossroads in my life and going thru all kinds of stuff trying to give birth to this new life/career. Last weekend, things came to a head - I burst into tears & all the walls & defenses came tumbling down, I held up my hands and turned it over to my Higher Power.

Sooo, this week, I am humbly taking a cleansing, reflection, redirection, renewing. Resting. Cleaning up my diet, decluttering & getting a fresh new healthier Spring perspective on life, my past & relationships - especially the relationship with myself.

I really need workouts that specifically address issues for me now. Here are some "new to me" workouts that couldn't have come at a better time.

Bellyfits (sale 50% off!)
http://www.bellyfit.com/store/bellyfit-tv

The TV season Detox & Healing spoke to me. I have previewed them both & feel healed just from that lol Can. Not. Wait. to get into these!

And, for the first time ever, I am drawn to no music yoga. I found these on the Udaya channel that focus on specific intentions

Mini Retreat 20 min

Stillness 1 hour

Yin Yoga Surrender 1 hour

Blindfolded Yoga 1 hour ok, this one looks really deep but probably necessary Vytas Baskauskas is new to me. Already, I like his calming, patient deep voice. Like Ravi with Ana & Travis for me.

I have been journaling non-stop. The astrologers I follow on youtube all seem to be hitting the nail on the head. Here is a couple of many that have rocked my little reality and given me much to journal about.

BECOMING YOUR OWN AUTHORITY

DEEP ASTROLOGY W/ LEO KING And, dont let this handsome, model looking, GQ guy fool you lol He is one of the most profound astrologers out there, funny too! (warning, he compassionately keeps it real with tough love & "shiny" language)

And, to save the best for last -

I have always turned to music for comfort. As I was having my breakthrough/down last week, I had this song/video on & it rang thru my soul with beautiful expansiveness. The lyrics are a timeless prayer IMHO - sung with the greatest passion & understanding of the human condition. Powerful voice like you wouldnt believe.
Words really cant express, click the link & see if you like ...

HORIZONS

Enjoy & happy healing to anyone that needs it this retrograde

I'm sorry you're going this. I'm getting beat to a pulp, too. My husband lost his job, two weeks later may have torn a ligament in his knee (jury is still out on this - doctor is waiting for the swelling to go down). It feels like life is walking all over me lately.

What's making it worse is that I can't do most of my workouts due to recovering from foot surgery. Arrrrgh!

I started incorporating more Ravi and Ana - even if it's an eight minute piece from House Calls or Quick Fixes, or a meditation - before I hurt somebody. Good idea about the Bellyfits - maybe I can do just the warmups and at least cheer up a little. I tried Shakti Ma, and was able to do the whole beginning before she started the vinyasa - that helped greatly.

Classical Stretch episodes have been helping - short, and I always feel refreshed afterward.

I saw a cute meme on Facebook - "May your Mercury be more Freddie and less retrograde."

Cybersparkle, I'm so sorry you're going thru some tough times right now but so glad yoga/your workouts are helping you cope. I LOVE Michelle Goldstein's classes! She just makes everything all better. She does talk a lot but I am used to that with Travis. And I can't wait to try Vytas' Blindfold class - I bet that's super hard to balance blindfolded. Vytas is awesome and has really helped me go deeper into the poses (mentally as well as physically!)

Thanks for all the classes to check out. Please join our check-in again in April so I can read your (colorful) workout log!!

Pat, (((Hugs))) to you at this time. Hope things improve quickly for you and your DH and I loved your meme!!

Aw, Cybersparkle and Pat, sorry you're having such a tough go of it right now. Sounds like you both have found ways to ease on gently through this time.

May the rest of this Mercury Rx be kinder to us all! (But don't count on it...)

Thank you all for the kind words & thoughts

Pat58 - Warm hug & hope you & your DH bounce back soon & feel better! Retrogrades slow everything down & I'm trying hard to find the message why this might happen. It's like, no movement forward or making decisions from fear until there has been time spent in deep reflection about where we truly want to go in life from here, how we got here & what now to do to readjust to find a better path. Hence delays, injuries, work changes that cause us to be still & listen within.

I have lined up Ravi & Ana too - nothing calms me like Fat Free & Bliss Hips!

Thank you for that meme, hope Freddy visits sooner than later lol

Yogapam Thank you, every night has a dawn!

AnMrsDe - Good to know about Michelle & Vytas! Kundalini started me keeping my eyes closed and Travis cues so well, I tend to close my eyes most of the time anyway. It will be quite an exciting experiment with a blindfold where you cant peek at all But got totally good vibes from his voice so maybe it's doable

I have been putting all the colors in my Exercise Bullet Journal lol I will def post it here again soon, your wonderful bright energy is so uplifting, thank you

DorothyJ lol, I know right?! Just gotta ride it out & go with the flow come what may

Thank you, Cybersparkle!

Just had to come back and let you know I did the Blindfolded Yoga class with Vytas this morning. Copied from my check-in: WOW, just WOW! That was tough!!! Try to balance on one leg while blindfolded...it is tough. There was no way I was going to try side crow blindfolded...I can't even do it not blindfolded, LOL, so I just did regular crow which was tough enough not being able to see. At one point, Vytas' voice was coming from the opposite side of the room(!), so I had to peek to see what was up....somehow I got myself completely turned around on my mat! And...at one point, a furry tail brushed up against me which totally freaked me out!! I felt, overall, I did pretty good, esp. with putting one foot directly behind the other, like on a tight rope. That is not easy. Very nice challenge this morning and Vytas even jokes around in this, which is rare! He's usually all business but does a great job cueing as usual and I knew (in my mind, anyway, LOL) exactly what to do.

Before this class, I did P90X3 Yoga for the first time. All I can say is, good thing Tony doesn't cue Blindfolded Yoga!!! (I had to look at the screen a lot in that one).

Thanks for the great challenge this morning!

(Hope you're feeling better this week).....
