Hi impact and the Urban Rebounder

Suebella was kind enough to give her opinion on this in another thread, so I'd like to hear from more people. I had a half-fold Reboundair which I loved, but the bounce was just too soft for me to be able to use it with my other workouts. Since I bought it specifically for that purpose, it ended up being of little use to me. For anyone who owns the rebounder from Urban Rebounding, do you find that you can keep up with the impact moves (jacks, etc.) in non-rebounding videos? TIA.

NOPE! I have both the "club" and the home version (1/2 fold) Urban Rebounders, and they're both too soft for that. That's one of the reasons I bought them, too, but I just find it frustrating to try to use to modify hi/lo tapes.

I wonder if the cheapo rebounders would actually work better for that?

I have the 1/2 fold UR and have had no problems keeping up with UR or non-rebounding workouts that have jumping jacks, plyos, or other impact moves (I have used mine for high impact in Kamikaze, Christi Taylor, Cathe MIC, and others).

No problem...

I have the regular UR rebounder and don't have problem using it for the high impact in videos. Such as Cathe, Slim Series, Power Half Hour, etc.

I had the chance to test all the major rebounder models side-by-side last year. I found that the UR was actually a firmer bounce than the Needak or the Reboundair.

It's too bad you can't add more air to your rebounder, like a resistance ball!

Thank you all I sold my Reboundair because of the bounce problem. I will take another look at the UR website. Thanks again!
