What made the biggest difference in your fitness?

For me is doing yoga regularly. As a matter of fact -- doing UY regularly. I feel sooooo much "lighter", limber, mobile, flexible and actually stronger in many ways. I feel that my whole fitness life improved measurable.

Doing Physique 57--regularly. I used to have total exercise ADD and would do something different everyday. I thought my catch all program was good because it provided variety, and I did strive for balance (cardio, strength training, flexibility), but I really notice better results all around now that I'm sticking to this one method (that encompases cardio, strength training and flexibility.) I've gotten better aesthetic results and more importantly, MARKEDLY fewer aches and pains. I move more easily and it's fun to see myself progress.

Doing one day a week of either HIIT or tabata type workouts. My stamina for all other cardio workouts has improved so much as well the tone of my legs.

Daily walking and CS. My neighbor and I walk about 3 miles a day and it has made a huge difference in my general fitness. CS/Essentrics has been great for slimming me down and keeping my pain manageable.

Metabolic circuits. I find them fun, challenging, and never boring. Clock-watching is a workout death-knell for me.

The ART Method helped me be stronger, more flexible and have greater muscular endurance.

I ditto what Aunt Nuggie said about the importance of having a dedicated program. Having ART has made a huge difference for me in marking progress and seeing results.

3-4 rimes a week. I don't follow his program, just pick a UY DVD that goes well with what I do that day. Today I rowed and did Vitalty. When I do other cardio I may do the Strength DVD. So I Mix and Match
