Tracking weight workouts

Right now I am doing the beginner workouts with Lift with Cee but I want to start the 40-4-40 series at the beginning of July.

Does anyone have some good suggestions on how they track lbs/reps/exercises? Do you use a specific journal? A blank notebook? Hit me up with your best way to keep things organized and recorded.

TIA.

My favorite is to use a 5x8 spiral notebook. It makes it easy to look back and see what weights I did for prior weeks.

If I’m at the gym I make a note on my phone and then record later.

I’m sure there are spreadsheets or apps that also work, but lower tech feels less fussy to me.

I use Trello to track my workout progress when it comes to distance for running and weights for weight workouts. It's a free app that basically creates lists for you.

The Trello that I found says for team management or smthg like that. Is that the one you use?

I'm old school, I like paper

I'm going to start using a bullet journal to make myself up a tracker for my weight training workouts.

Yes. You can technically put a lot of people on a specific shared board, but I keep most of mine private and just use it for workouts, to-do lists, things like that.
