How do you stream from external hard drive to iPad?

The Toshiba Canvio adapter worked great (see my post above). It eliminates the need for a new external hard drive and makes your existing one wireless. The best part is its price of $12.25. This gadget is only good if you already have an external hard drive. I have 2 Toshiba external hard drives and they work really well.
