There are no dumb questions, but here's one.....

If you buy streaming workouts, can you burn them to a dvd?

I believe only if you can download them. There may be tools that let you capture (and hence download) the video as it streams, but I don't know a tool that does that.

It depends on the stream. Most are downloadable with various methods but some are not.

I subscribed to yogadownload.com just to get access to some good yoga workouts, and with my streaming membership I can download the videos I want to keep. Not all, but most. They offer this option and I'm very happy for it because my streaming has (once again!) become very unreliable during peak hours. I subscribed to it via Groupon and I got a great deal.

You write "dumb question" and look at how many of us had to look!!!!
(and I was glad of your question. Streaming confuses me and is evil, lol) If i was gonna go a route like that, it would probably be downloads. Unless there's a lot of perks, i don't want something i can't keep, and I assumed you couldn't wit streaming, but wasn't sure with downloading or burning it.

Same. When I found out you couldn't keep the workouts, forget it. I just don't like the hassle of setting up and then having issues viewing the workouts. I know that these methods will be inevitable in our future, but for now, I will enjoy my dvds.

I think if it is truly streaming, the answer is that it may be technically possible, but it's most likely a violation of the terms of use and therefore illegal.
