LOL my last package which was Jessica's managed to skip the black holes of Jersey City and Kearny so delivered earlier than predicted. It is quite annoying to see a package 30 minutes away sitting in a black hole for several days. Even more annoying when it goes to yet another black hole. I think this is partly why I stopped trading or even giving workouts away at my expense. It wasn't worth the stress.

Barb, the new black hole for NJ packages is Avenel! It looks like my package actually was mailed from the new Amazon warehouse in Robbinsville, which is ten minutes from my house! It went to the post office in my town, and then got sent to Avenel! ARGGHHH!!

The package I sent to my giftee for the VF Holiday exchange went the scenic route. She lives in South Jersey. It went up to Kearney where it sat for three days, then was sent to Philadelphia, and then to her post office. I don't get the USPS at all!

I remember the day when first class often delivered the next day.
Now it delivers more like media mail.

I made the mistake of using media mail during the gift exchange and the package took almost three weeks to get from the East coast to the West coast! I knew it would take longer, but not THREE weeks! I should have know better. I've always used First Class or Priority Mail (and it was dumb on my part to use this method when we were so far apart.) My giftee isn't a frequent poster, so I was sweating bullets and checking tracking info. I'll never cheap out like that again, because I was so anxious this time.

We've been in contact and everything has been resolved.

Just FYI- For some reason my yahoo e-mail is NOT going through to her contact form on her website so we handled everything through YouTube.
