Great info Jeannine!
A site I've used for years for current postage info and topics is https://www.nerdylorrin.net/jerry/postages/ (I've learned a lot from this site.) Also, I print all my postage using my paypal account using this link (you even get free tracking for media mail! It says it's extra for media mail but it always ends up being free): https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...de_optout=true It's usually cheaper than going to the post office for first class and priority mail. I think it ends up being the same price for media mail, but you do get the added bonus of free tracking. Plus, you can just print the label, tape it on the bubble mailer, and put it in your mailbox for pickup. I have a couple of small digital scales (for weighing yarn and also dry baking ingredients) so I don't have issues with calculating package weight. Though for media mail, I believe anything up to a pound is the same price, so it doesn't have to be as precise as first class. |
