Over the weekend I read Stephen King's Elevation. I am a huge fan of his, but this short novel (more like novella) was a disappointment; there wasn't much to it.
Now I'm reading The Reunion by Sue Walker, a psychological thriller. I've never read anything by her; it's good so far. ETA: Okay, this is embarrassing! I was looking up the latter book on Amazon...and discovered my own review for it! It was back in 2005. I have sometimes been uncertain whether I have read a book before, but I'm over a third through this one, and it has not sounded familiar AT ALL. Now I'm not sure whether to keep reading...at least I gave it 4 stars.

I finished An American Marriage by Tayari Jones yesterday — really enjoyed it. Next up: Another Side of Paradise by Sally Koslow.
