Does anyone here use battle ropes as part of their routine? What diameter and what lengths? Thanks

I use them every day in bootcamp. I have no idea the length and diameter, but I can find out if you'd like me to. The length takes up a good stretch of the gym though. I wouldn't have near enough room to have a rope at home.

They are excellent for so many things, depending on what moves you do. Core, arms, shoulders, etc. Also they get your heart rate right up there!

I use these at the gym, too. You'd have to have a very large home workout space--like your entire basement--to use these at home. The ones at my gym are long and pretty big in diameter--I cannot get my hand completely around them.

ITA with everything Jeanne Marie says about their benefits!

I use 50' rope and diameter is 1.5". That size fit my hand grip better than a 2" diameter rope.

i use 1.5 inch too. since moving to our new home my gym is smaller and i haven't been able to use them.

i looked into getting a shorter length and sadly i didn't achieve the same workout level by using the shorter rope.

i've been considering buy Stroops Son of the Beast but i can't buy them locally. i hate to buy online when it's something i might return (all those shipping costs really eat up the refund)

any way here's a link to the Son of the Beast if you have a smaller home gym like i do
