fitbit for small wrist

Does anyones kid have a wrist fitbit? I started with the Ultra, I think it's called, & now have the One so I'm not really familiar with the wrist ones. Is the small small enough for a skinny 13yo? My kid wants one. With the way I lose my One I think the wrist ones would be better for a kid.

My 17 year old DD has the Charge and we originally thought she would need the small, but she actually needed the large. Luckily my DH already had a Fitbit and she tried his on before we bought hers.

According to Fitbit, these are the specifications:

Fitbit Flex
Small - 5.5 - 6.5" around wrist
Large - 6.5 - 7.9

Fitbit Charge
Small - 5.5 - 6.5
Large - 6.5 - 7.7
X-Large - 7.7 - 8.9

We got DH's Charge HR at Kohl's and they let us open the box so he could try it on. He wasn't sure if he was going to need the large or X-large. Of course, they knew we were going to buy it if it fit. He has the Large and he's 6'7".

Thanks! I forgot I've seen fitbits in stores. I think I'll take him in somewhere to try one on to see if it fits.

Honestly, I don't know if all stores will let you open them or not, but Kohl's did let us.

My wrist is 5 1/4" around and the small Flex band fits me fine. I was worried about the same thing, but mine could actually go 2 more notches tighter if my wrist was smaller.

You could see if he'd like a Fitbit zip. It's just a small clip on gadget.

I thought about zip since it was the cheapest but I've lost my one so many times I worry he'd do the same if it wasn't attached to him. I ended up measuring his wrist & hoping for the best after ordering online. There's a money back guarantee. Hopefully we won't need it.

Vantreesta, that's good to know. I can't remember how much his wrist measured but it was in the range for a small so it sounds like it should fit fine.

A friend of mine bought fitbits for her 8 and 11 year old girls. They are very petite and have no problem wearing the wrist fitbits.
