Finally finished The Curse of Chalion.

Haven't had much time or attention for reading lately.

The Harry Potter audio book is still entertaining me from time to time. Working my way through it slowly.

I loved that book so much. I read The Nightingale right after and loved it just as much. Lilac Girls was also fantastic.

Editing to add.. these are all WWII stories.

I'm 3 books into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I didn't realize it was a series, LOL, or I probably would've passed. I hate committing to anything above a trilogy...but since this is self-called a "trilogy in 5 parts" I suppose they found a loophole...

I enjoyed all of these as well.

I'm sort of in a reading slump lately- this came up - America's First Daughter by Stephanie Dray - anyone read it? Thoughts?

This one was one of my favorites last year!

Hi,
I started to read America's First Daughter that I mentioned upthread and I am enjoying it and looking into other historical fiction set around the revolutionary war time period.

Any suggestions?

Also, why do books you have had on hold forever come in just as you make a commitment to another book????
