I've been rebuilding my strength and realize I do best when I stick to the same basic workout for a while. I've restarted Firm Vol 2 which I'll stick with for a while, then see how my weights increase and what other strength workouts I'll eventually mix in.

I have limited stamina though, so have just started a 'halfsie' rotation for Vol 2 - standing half on the 1st day, followed by the floorwork half on the 2nd. Will be doing this weekday afternoons after work as well as Saturday mornings.

Most weekday mornings I get in 15-30 mins of low-impact cardio, mostly walking dvds: Leslie, Jessica, Kathy Smith, etc. That's where some variety in my routine comes in.

Best wishes to all and good luck with your fitness and wellness goals!!

I'm going to do a Firm 90 day rotation and try to finish in 100 days. I'll be modifying and adjusting as I go!

I"ve already started a rotation using Essentrics and Callanetics. I"m really enjoying this and look forward to my workouts! I just need to add in cardio. I'm going to give this 3 months and then move on if I don't see any changes. After that I am not sure what I will do. Maybe I will try Body Engineering or go back to Ballet Body.

Today is the 1st and I still keep waffling on what rotation/workout I want to start. I just can't seem to decide. I have 21Fix Extreme that I have never done along with Body Beast. But subscribing to BOD and doing 80 Day Obsession is still in the back of my mind. I hate not being able to figure it out.

I think I finally decided!

in November I purchased Jessica Valent's Pilates Plus bootcamp so I'm going to do that along w/ Yoga / Adriene's True

Jessica's program includes more than Pilates - the schedule is:

Day 1 - steady state cardio
Day 2 - Arms and Abs
Day 3 - HIIT and Abs
Day 4 - Active Rest
Day 5 - Legs & More
Day 6 - steady state cardio
Day 7 - Rest

no more than 30 minutes a day and I will add Adriene's practices in which will end up being in the 20-40 min range. I will probably split thing up and do one workout in the morning and one in the evening.

Happy New Year!!

I may have to rethink my planned for January Walk Strong 3 rotation. Yesterday I started with Foundations and 1-Mile Walk, and this morning I did Metabolic Conditioning and I'm not feeling these so far. Foundations was as expected - basics, but Metabolic Conditioning I did this morning felt choppy and just meh. I will continue with the rotation for a while, but I may have to move on to something else and save WS3 for another time.
