OT: pc help

hi
my keyboard suddenly stopped working. any suggestions? ive checked
connections, rebooted, and uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard driver.
no luck

I have windows 10

yay Julie!

my work keyboard used to do that a lot, for no explicable reason. after trying all of those things (except reinstalling the driver since mine is plug and play) to no avail, I got our IT dept to send me another keyboard. I used it for awhile, then had the problem recur. so I switched back to the old keyboard, and it worked.

finally, one of the "legs" on the keyboard broke, so I requested a new one, and got to choose an ergonomic one. since then, I haven't had any problems with the keyboard not working.

I did the about things and I also made sure some "Ease of access" keyboard switches were unfiltered. the last time I restarted it was fine. it's a fairly old pc and keyboard too. I started using the on screen keyboard for a bit.
