Sorry, I added to the checkin confusion last night by posting in the wrong one!

I think we have decided to go with this one...I deleted my post from the other. Here's what I posted!

Good morning! My work is officially closed but I'm debating going in for half a day - and work is losing.

We got through yesterday. I estimate we got nine or ten inches. We went out twice to keep up with it, in between I read and did some nourishing yoga - a yin for adrenal health which turned out to be a great mid back release, and a restorative labeled "Restore Your Posture" with Jason Crandell that will be in regular rotation. It uses a rolled Mexican blanket but I think the time to buy a pranayama bolster has arrived.

Beth, I'm happy to hear that the glitch was fixed and that you enjoyed the first class.

Cyana, good news that Lee is feeling better. Good luck with the elimination diet - it takes determination!

Paine, you will strengthen up again. Keep fighting!! I completely understand why you craved yin yoga, it's so nourishing and provides a retreat from the insanity.

Pam, I sure hope this month will bring us closer to freedom. I just can't believe it's been a year! Do you have a pranayama bolster? I'd be surprised if you don't - but if you do, do you have any favorite uses for it?

Good morning to Sandra and everyone.

Pat, glad you got some yoga in-between shovelmax! Was that Jason Crandell practice on YouTube? He can be a little dry, but he is the instructor of the one Yoga Journal DVD I have, and I do like his practices there.

I realized that I never did the last Alchemista routine, which I think is mostly floorwork? I might try to get that in later this week.

Happy Tuesday and stay warm everyone!

Quick post and run as I have to violate one of my February goals and work late this evening, as I have something huge due tomorrow.

Today:
Holden 30 Day Challenge - Day 2
YT - LWR - Virtual Cardio At Home (posted yesterday and super cute - you're hiking up a mountain in the snow, jogging with a wolf, jumping into and out of icy streams, etc. and you don't have to get wet OR cold! )
Several Kundalini-inspired spine movements while seated on the stability ball (really need to pull out some R/A videos)
BOF x 100 breath cycles
Abd. crunches on the stability ball x 50 reps
Mindfulness training class

At lunchtime I took an outdoor walk despite the cold and wind. It was sunny without a cloud in the sky and I needed to get outdoors and away from the computer. I heard - and then saw - massive flocks of robins who were gorging themselves on holly berries. Good thing I'm not paranoid about Alfred Hitchcock movies since I was the only human around - it was actually quite amusing.

Waves to ALL.

Today is my regular planned rest day.

Pat, yes--you said it perfectly in that Yin Yoga does feel nourishing and provides a retreat from the insanity.

Cyana, I liked hearing about your outdoor walk today.
I'm sorry Captain Tom Moore died. So sad.

Hello!

Yesterday's workout just didn't happen.

Today's Workout: I did Day 18 of Jessica Smith's Calm & Strong rotation, which was Tread & Shred from Walk On 21 Day Weight Loss.

Beth: I really tripped up everyone when I accidentally started that second thread!

Hope everyone is having a good week.

I found the right check in, lol! Yesterday I wasn’t sure.

Yesterday’s workouts:
~Essentrics TV: Meg’s Live workout
~Neighbourhood & trail walk
~Day 1 of Adriene’s 30 Days of Yoga: Ease Into It

Todays workouts:
~6 km forest hike
~Day 2 of Adriene’s 30 Days of Yoga: Stretch & Soothe - I expected this to be gentle but it was quite active & very nice. I haven’t done a lot of Adriene’s practices before & I quite like these.
~Insight Timer: Grounded Walk in the Forest

I’ve been preoccupied with my Essentrics level 4 studies lately & did my live Q&A exam on zoom today. It went very well and now I need to video a class and submit it. I’m almost there!

Pat - Ugh, that’s a lot of snow! Bolsters....I have a few, lol. I use them for various yin poses....hip openers, chest openers, twists, side stretches, etc. The ones I use the most are my long large rectangular one and my narrower pranayama rectangular one. I have a favourite version of sleeping swan that uses both bolsters & a couple of blocks.

Cyana - It was sad to hear that Captain Tom died, but he lived a long productive life & left a wonderful legacy.

Waves to all!

I forgot to post yesterday:

Body Project Beats 5 workout 30 minutes
Yoga with Bird-hip opening stretch 10 minutes

I'll try to do something today and post later.

Pam, yay for your progress towards your Level 4 - glad that your Q&A went well!

It was snowy here yesterday; we got 4-5 inches, not nearly as much as some other areas of the East coast. Hope everyone is able to inside if it's cold near you - or to get outside if it's not.
