Also a fan! For new viewers, BEWARE Season 1 Episode 1 needs a warning on it. The subject matter is sexual humiliation and it is not for the prudish.

Yes! I've only seen that first episode, very bizarre and didn't encourage me to watch any more...and I'm most definitely not prude!

I watched a few minutes of the first episode last night - and remembered watching it before and thinking it was kinda dumb. I think I might have watched another one or two back then.

Is this the show with the episode where a bunch of people are forced to ride stationery bikes for hours on end and two of them start passing notes to each other and there’s also something about watching porn? If so, I won’t bother with any more of it - unless later seasons are better?

No, the first episode is the one where the princess? is kidnapped and the ransom demand is for the prime minister to have um, relations with a pig.

Not for the prudish, and also not for anyone who is overly sensitive, or who has PTSD, or who has nightmares.

We just watched the episode with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son Wyatt. Very creepy and intense. It is snowing here so it is a good day to get into a show we have not watched before. Our son has watched a few and suggested it.

I remember the first episode. I thought that the strange bicycle episode might have been part of Black Mirror, too. No idea what that was then.

ETA: I just read through the episode guide and I guess I made it through the first episode of the second season. Maybe I’ll try again tonight.

We watched the episode directed by Jodie Foster. Since we are music geeks we caught The Pretenders song "I'm a Mother" at the end. How fitting

I watched the first episode of Season 1 when it first came out and found it so disturbing I didn't continue. But my son recently convinced me to try again and we watched all of Season 4 over the last 3 days and I found it really fabulous and thought-provoking. Episode 3 (Crocodile) was deeply disturbing, but it (and many of the other episodes as well) have provoked some great family discussions about the benefits and pitfalls of technology, as well as about privacy, personhood, etc. Looking forward to going back and watching the other episodes!

Hazel, we have watched five episodes total. The only one I wasn't crazy about was "metalhead." All the others were totally engrossing.

The episode "Hang the DJ" was really good, and of course they used the song with that title by The Smiths at the end.
